Question 2004 DTR Census

Another thread got me wondering about this - what's the U.S. to Canadian ratio of the DTR population? My guess is 15% Canadian, 2% other places, with the balance living in the U.S.

Hey AlpineRam, doesn't all that white stuff on the rocks in the background mean it's cold ( below 75) ? I know we have it over here to, but not in Florida . Well, OK, maybe once or twice every ten years.

Looks like I guessed pretty close, with 57 votes it's running 86/12/2.

57 votes out of 10,900 members.

I'd say it's fair to say that out of the members who post often, your guestimate is pretty good.

Hey, I never claimed it was a scientific survey. I can think of more than 7 Canadian DTR members off the top of my head. I think some of them are mad at me though...

I'll vote outside the US since we Texans always are taking a ribbing about being from a whole nuther country....... At least in the part I live in, the white stuff that the rest of ya'll keep talking about from November to March seldom makes a trek this far down!!!

Oh great. Now it's really unscientific. Besides, didn't your state dept. of tourism make that slogan up? I was in Texas for about 18 hours this time last year, I thought I was gonna die of heatstroke or skin cancer.

So it appears I wasn't the only one to notice that if the question was "Who has the best beer?" Wanna's prediction would have to be flipped to be true.
