1st time user sayin hi, is this where we check in?
I currently do not have a dodge diesel, although it is in the works. Any helpful hints on what to look for? I've learned that the 98-02(?) if a 53 is forged on the drivers side of the block to try and stay away from those. Any other hints or tips when looking for a 24 valve 98-02 cummins diesels?
BTW, name is Chris.and thanks in advance.
My other interests auto wise is the American Icon the corvette.
I hope this sparks some conversation with you diesel-boys(and girls), I love to learn more about the cummins or even the diesel engine in general

Welcome aboard. You got any questions, use the search function first, then ask. 
A good bunch of guys ans gals around here, and this is a family oriented site so keep that in mind when replying.
This board is full of info, so whatever Gen you get, just read each forum for that model in its entireity and then you will be an expert. haha, just kiddin.

Happy's right, welcome to the forum and we are "G" rated which really helps. Besides being children friendly it keeps us from having to explain things more than a couple hundred times.

I think your main concern should be that you have obviously posted once and your post counter says ZERO, you are doing something wrong, also don't talk to Cin she is hazardess.

Welcome Chris,... Keep the laptop handy and if you spot one for sale, real quick like, post the year model, etc,... the folks here'll tell you ANYTHING you'll ever need to know or be concerned about a particular vehicle..
