11 Year Marine Corps Anniversary

Mornin, DTR... ( or afternoon for you east coast guys)

Today is my 11 year anniversary in the Corps... I've loved every minute of it, too.

Just wanted to throw it out there, I have a lot of friends on here that have followed the last four or so years of my career, and I wanted to include you in this day. Thanks for your support.

Only 19 to go!

mad

Congrats Bro. I hit my 13 year mark in the Navy 2 months ago today. How time flies when you're having fun.

Yup, the older you get, the faster it goes. Dummies here just gave me my 10 year pin finally last month, and should be getting my 15 year next month.

Congrats.

Get promoted, make money.

Really, I'd like to do embassy duty, of if not that, then AMOI (where you teach officers in ROTC's in colleges. After that... ?

I doubt it. Why would I want to get my brains beat out as an old man with a big family?

I thought about RECON when I was a young Sgt, but it did not fit my lifestyle with a bunch of kids and a wife. The marriage success rate of seals is pretty low.

Thanks to all for your comments. I'm proud to serve you.
