Morning DTR,

Hot down here, hiding out in the house cause its too wet to cut the grass. Was up til midnight last night putting new speakers in the truck. Had got a new JL 300/4 amp and figured it deserved new JL's all around, 6x9 front, 6.5 rear 3.5 in dash, sounds like a recording studio, love it.

Got a Boston Butt on the smoker slow and low, gonna make pulled pork for supper.

Might even have a beer this afternoon.

Later

I sit in a small, hot office with a junior Marine, tour the area on a regular basis, and act for the Commanding Officer in his absence. Basically, if something goes bad, I'm damage control until someone that gets paid more than me can get here.

I think I broke the space bar on my laptop...

I had my laptop sitting in front of my recliner last night. I tossed my pistol on the recliner and it took a dive and now my space bar doesn't work unless I really press on it..

Afternoon boy's and girls. It is sunny and a balmy 92* with 70% humidity and I am stuck at work sitting in a nice air conditioned station waiting for the next call. Lost about 12lbs yesterday working a fire in a triple decker, .

All the family has gone back to Texas, we had a great time hosting and spending time with all of them. I always miss them when they leave, however, it is nice to have my house back.

Fronty, you are not supposed to toss fire arms around. What would you have done if it fired and took out your television and fridge? Nothing worse than sittin in a living room without a tv while drinking warm beer.

Madhat, at least we have air in the stations. I feel for you. My first beer tonight is for you.

Blake, I love pulled pork. We cook it low and slow in the oven with liquid smoke. I know it's not the real deal but as close as we can get at the station.
Goya sazon, try it on it! mmmmm good.

Cincy, getting ready to be a dad, very cool. I wish you the very best.

Old dog, I ain't afraid of no stinkin diaper. You think a baby is bad, I go to calls where elderly have diapers, , I will take a baby any time over that.

Nice to have some time to get back in here with you fella's.
