the night before was bad...real bad.....
but afterwards the Doc did give me a note for THE BOSS, proving once and for all that my head was NOT up there...

The doc told me that almost every guy will ask if they found:
1) car keys
2) his brain
3) the remote
4) critters of some type
5) the lost ark
and 6) his dads boot/shoe
and many claim the doc wont call them/respect them the next morning...
which just proves somethings are universal...

Doesn't work for me...they try to put me to sleep but it seldom works very well...I was wide awake when they built my new hip....Doctors were freaked out but they got over it and moved on just the same. Same thing with this test I go to sleep just long enough to wheel me into the room and then I talk with the Doc through the whole procedure...
I had both ends done as well

Had a transverse esophageal echo cardiogram one time.
Only one nurse understood why when they asked how I felt after the test I said I felt like Linda.

Was 70 here today. Nice and sunny but a strong wind blowing too. Called dad he says "I'll call you later I'm plowing snow".

Got a bunch of barb wire to take down and roll up, some trees to cut, and dirt to move. Probably work all weekend.

Wow. After reading all the comments I didn't realize the procedure was so common. I hope its not something exclusive only to DTR members.
My brother has also had the colonoscopy and endoscopy done at the same time.
He said they do the colonoscopy first so the instrument gets cleaned off during the second part. I hope he was lying.
Just notice NEfrmhnd posted the same fear.
-On a related note. I got a PM from one of our members saying he would shove a camera up my butt for free but we had to use my camera.
-People on DTR are so nice.

Where there is no struggle, there is no strength.

When I was getting a couple of fingers repaired that I sort of knocked off with a radial arm saw, the surgeon kept having to send someone down to the pharmacy for this or that button or suture or whatever. I started to make snide remarks about it. Next thing I knew, surgery was over and the anesthesiologist said, "you had a pretty nice nap."
When I got the bill, there was some medicine on it that I didn't recognize, so I asked my GP about it. He said, "This one was to counter failing blood pressure, this one was to get your heart beating, this one was to directly counter the anesthetic, and this one was to help get your blood ph back to normal after all the other stuff." Long story short, they almost killed me to shut me up.
I don't like doctors, hopspitals, drugs, or any other interference with life.
