7 weeks later a couple out hunting found her still alive in and around the van. The husband that left to go get help is still missing...
She survived for 7 weeks on water alone.

Keep us posted if you hear anything further on this. Kinda makes me wonder how they got so far off the beaten path in the first place.

They may have been following a gps that was not correctly updated?

I agree. Thats what happened here in Oregon a few years ago to a couple with kids from the SF bay area. Followed their gps for a route over the mountain to the coast & got stuck in the snow. The woman & kids survived sticking with the vehicle. The man didn't make it out before sercumming to hyperthermia. I hope they find this guy alive & well.

I'm sure the only reason she survived seven weeks is because she had the shelter and protection of the van.

Being exposed to the elements and whatever predators are out there will make finding a body that much more difficult if at all.
