Davey, he already knows what time it is in the twilight zone. That's where he lives now.

Mornin all

DC take it easy man, you have to pace your self. Can't work yourself into the ground. Whats that new buzz word they use... BALANCED LIFESTYLE thats it.

Davey I think I've heard that song before. Don't think the version I've heard would make it onto the site though. Hope the weather holds for ya.

Claude it is interesting when you check into your ancestors. My uncle did that (family tree) and found out that there was a couple of bad actors in the past. And no it wasn't the Ronald Reagan type. Find out all kinds of interesting things. As for all those kids, it was the long cold winter nights that did it.

Sorry Scott I am a little late today even by my clock but I have a good excuse. I'm not going to tell you either cause I might have to use it another time.

Better get at it, so have a good one, stay safe.

>lesuirly strollign into break room< Late? whos late?
I dont need no stinkin clock...I am always where I am when I am there,so I am therefore never late........

well teh snow pretty much went south of me, 12Valve and MColman are having fun with it I am sure..
there is barely a dusting onteh ground, despite teh Wx forecasters dire predictions.

Rick, I have mechanics gloves, wool gloves, military cold weather gear gloves and artic mittens, lined leather gloves, and several styles of LEO lined gloves, and NONE of them keep my fingers and hands from going numb..Had a pair of STERNS survival gloves that were pretty decent, but I had to return them when I left the SAR station....
I actually think that it has more to do with having damaged the nerves in my arms and hands more than circulation..
the infrared lights are nice , but I dont need warming inside the house. The pocket warmers are to much af a PITA IMHO, so i dont bother with them.
I can function if I HAVE to, I just avoid having to

Oh BTW, also avoid sharing a drinking glass with anyone who chews tabacoo........

Almost too late to say mornin' all,

Forecast storm for last night was a little late, hit this morning, lost power for a little while. Got the little kidlett home, struck down by internal disorders.
Lunch was leftover beans and ham, with corn bread.

Old dog, shaking the family tree is fun, takes a lot of work sometimes. We have done it and go back a few generations. Not too much exciting so far. Grandparents came over and landed in NYC before Ellis Island. Not able to find records. Wife thinks a couple of glass pieces that she has came over on the Mayflower. Not documented yet.

Weather not bad now, rain stopped. Ijobb you can keep the cold. Stir your with your thumb and keep it warm.

Chaikwa, I am never late, when I get there, I am there. But if you want to start without me, go ahead. Just keep the noise down please.

ChrisR good tip on sharing the drinking glass.

DC, take care of your self, with your nose to the grindstone like that you will end up with a flat nose. Slow down, and read the trivia markers along the road of life.

Have a good un and be safe out there.

Afternoon gents

Just popping in for a few. Been out looking for some decent scrap steel to make a drop weight for the excavator. The only thing I've found so far is some 5" plate for $200. With a little torch work it could be workable. The piece I found should weigh about 850 so I'd end up welding some plates to the side. I need it in the 1500 range to make things work easy.

Well, as long as it's the same brand as what you chew...

Almost dinner time,

NW Houston, clear blue sky, gusty wind to 33 MPH, temp in the low 60s.

Is CIN MIA or did doggie get the goodie bags?

Looks like the sicko kidlett will be back at the think tank tomorrow. Wheee.
About time JWBM shows up and post pix of the fun in the sun time she had.
Old dog, is the MEEKER you mention part of the Meekers that went to Seattle WA? The Meeker got single ladies to come to Seattle, as there were now women out there. The were call the "Meeker girls." The movie 7 bride for seven brothers was based on that.

Gonna fire up the back yard beef and bird burner and do a couple of steaks, with baked spuds.

Have a good un, and be safe out there.

They kept burning out, the bulbs are junk. I got them from a different dealer this time. If this don't fix it, then I'm gonna get some bondo and paint and take care of it for good... Smoked lens and superwhite LED's.

Yah, the 10 billion push up warranty, I ain't even half way there...
Thanks!

Back from Va, I left a today instead of tomorrow. Decent trip. Found 2 really good eating establishments, and one super huge redneck mart... Note to self, don't stop at J.R.'s at exit 97 in NC. However, there is a bbq joint there that I almost stayed at so I could eat supper there. Fresh pig skins and gizzards. I was in heaven. Good cookin.

Doc says I gotta be in a velcro cast/brace for another month, took the temp cast off and moved my wrist, almost passed out. He's like, "Oh, yeah, don't move it or it will hurt really bad..." Butt-hole! All is well now.

Some granny almost ran me off the road today, she drove like a 16yr old that I used to know that had a hot rod camaro... We had fun for about 100 miles playing smokey and the bandit. Truck got 23mpg on the overhead liar, that's about 19-20 in real life. Not too bad.

What else to tell? 04 called me a few times, checkin up on me, it's nice to have a dad away from home. My kids really enjoyed him.

Later!!

Hey Madhat, I think I saw you (or your twin) on dateline tonight? It was a brief clip of boot camp and the DI was - the recruits.
