Mornin' all,
Houston: Mostly Cloudy 80°F (27°C) Rain, heavy at times and T storms in the forcast.
Eyeball report: Cateract surgury went well on Tuesday. Amazing how well I could see, didn't need glasses for distance vision. The lens implant has the perscriptiong built in. On Wednesday, vision was blurred and out of focus, halos around lights and the sun. Glad wife drove me to follow up. Pressure in the eye too high. Got drops and pills for that. Also I put pressure on the eye to squeeze the fluid out. Much better today.
Have a cheep pair of reading glasses, so I can see the computer screen and read it. Go back to the Dr this afternoon.
When the swelling goes down in the eye and it is stalbe will have an exam to get a percription for new glasses, for near vision. Since I only have one eye I will get polycarbonate lenes. ks
Thanks everone for the words of encouragment it help and is appricated.

Spider report: Charlott is still toating her cacoon around. I'll catch a fly and see if she is hungry.

Grandson now has a ball python snake for a pet. Wife NOT thrilled.

good, CIN your aim is getting better, donut hit at the patio. Thanks.

Flash, good to hear from you, saw the pix in your gallery. Don't ride in to Vagas in a $50,000 truck and ride out on a million dollar Grayhound Bus

SR, go home, don't make eveone else at work sick, or you will end up doing their work later. Follow DR Shovelheads perscription!

04cdt lost the shutdown chirp when the serpentine belt was replaced on our 02. Kinda miss it.

Shovelhead, the new job list will be on your desk Friday at 1500 hours, to be compleated before you leave for the weekend, ain't that how it goes

NW Dave, you still working at Anacortes Shell, this is the time of year to have to go to Twisp or Winthrop across the North Cascades. Enjoy your Friday.

FiverBob, how do you float the foo-foo coffee in the pool?

Have a good un, and be safe out there.

Morning all.

04 From what I understand they put a new pulley onto the generator. Part no 05183490AA. It didn't matter they didn't have one. How can a billion dollar company not have parts in inventory? Especially when it's a known problem. Now back to the program that is already in progress.

Nice day today. Going to be in the low 30s here this weekend. Happy Friday for all those are on a 4-10 work week. For those that are on holidays continue on as before. If Friday is still on the horizon get prepared. If you have to work on the weekend and they're working you like a rented mule look for a different job.

Shortround take the day off and tomorrow. Rest for the weekend, work will not go away. Hit it hard on Monday...

DD4x4 They have all kinds of ways to help people with studders nowadays.Bio feedback, electric shock therapy. Just a thought.

Have fun and drive safe.

Oh my goodness - - where have you been? Everyone knows that ALL good air mattresses have cup holders.

Got lazy and took the fiver in today to pull wheels, check brakes and repack bearings. Didn't feel like doing myself this time. All looked good - - amazing how good the brakes look with 50K on them.

Had lunch, just got my foo foo - - yep, you're right - - IT'S POOL TIME.

See ya,

Bob

[QUOTE=dssimecek;1617266]Mornin' all,

Yes, still there and will be for a good long time, unfortuately, drivewise.

Can't go east over the mountains (Cascades to you that aren't fortunate enough to know the region), t-o-o-o-o-o much roadwork going on. I'll just stay at home and let the rest of the world go crazy.

These refineries up this way are going through major construction with busy times until 2011. New units being built. Anyone in industrial construction looking for work? Check out the PNW. We're hurting for people who aren't afraid to work in Oil Refineries. My apologies if I violated a rule but work is there for those who might need it. End of hijack.

G'Day, DTRonians.

TGIF

Temps already in the mid 70s, humidity feels like it MUST be about 400%.
Rain in the forecast for the weekend.
(It's been so long since we've had any, I had to GOOGLE rain to find out what it was)

"Stuff To Do" list was hammered hard and long yesterday in hopes that today would be a "Kick-back and Snooze" kinda day.
We'll see how that plan holds out.

Y'all be safe,

Mornin folks, gonna be kinda hazy, hot, humid day here in the northeast.
Going to have an easy day today. Backfill an addition, and then head to the garage to start cleaning up the wife's old cherokee.
Lease return date 8/23, small dent in driver's rear door, pretty deep scratch on the rear bumper cover. Then buff and glaze the whole thing.
Need to stay close to home today, Grandfather passed away early yesterday morning. Relatives coming in from everywhere for funeral. Might have to go fetch someone at the airport.
Have a fabulous day everyone

Rich

I'm up and I'm out the door, I got permission to come in late today and got my hours changed so I can go in at 10am in the morning (that way I can get stuff done in the morning and not feel like I'm getting to work late, mainly so I feel like I can go in at 8 and be early) Got the first diesel meet for Stephenville tonight, still doesn't look like we're official yet, but we can at least figure out what we want to do with it.

sorry to hear about Grandpa, and about the relatives...
most mine are more pain than joy

in case you don't know: any car dealer can buy out your lease for a few thousand less than you can.

i took my leased car in, lease buyout was 24k, the local dealer bought it out for 21k, i have him 21,500, and we was all happy....

Hey hey, a fine good mornin to the gang,

Been up since 5am working on fiver. 8am now and ready for my foo foo - - - - soooooo, where is it???? SCOTT, get up and get out here - - that durn maid is messing up again.

Cloudy this morning and high percentage for some rain. Good, we still need a lot to catch up - - lakes are low. Cleaned up the battery box on the fiver and repainted it - - wow, forgot how heavy those Trojan batteries are. You lift one of those things and you will never ask again why true deep cycle batteries are better for RVs. So, got the batteries remounted, cleaned the carpets, replaced on piece of trim and traced down a break in my solar panel wire. So, time for coffee, have a sprinkle - - SPRINKLES - - WHERE ARE THE SPRINKLES??? SCOTT!!!! Man, where is that maid?

Ya'll be good today - - its Friday - - don't push it too hard. I will think about you while floating around in the pool - - - drinking foo foo - - - - splashing and staying cool - - reading the paper and more . OK, OK, I will shut up - - I'm outa here.

Mornin' all
Houston:Overcast 77°F (25°C) Heavy rain & Tstorms in forcast again.

Eyeball doing fine now, pressure normal. Got good distance vision 20/25. Use a pair of drugstore reading glasses for close up stuff. Dr says that is all I really need.

Charlott, momma spiders still carring around the cacoon. Not complaing, just sitting in her web.

Wife has new doctor, like her old one, but had over an hour wait both times, the last visit, the doc was not even in the office. She left and went back to work, and got a new Dr, closer to her work. Likes new Dr.

One of these days I gonna have to wash the truck driving in all the rain it is muddy.

BusyBob, go enjoy the pool, those batteries get heaver evey year. I would have thought of the janitor made your foo-foo right it would sink your pool float.

Richard, sorry to hear about your grand dad passing.

CIN good breakfast, landed right on time but shhhh, less noise. I think someone did something with ChirsR's bosuns pipe.

Shovlehead, your new todo list will be on your desk at 1500 for compleation today. That is how it is done there, like everwhere else.

DD, when you go in late, at 10, do you go home early to make up for it?

NW Dave, have a good start of your weekend day.

Have a good un, and be safe out there.
