Good job Chris... cept you're suppose to put something in the pot when you turn it on. That's all right, makes it easier to bust the lava rock out of the bottom. Coffee's on, germans came back for 2nds this morning, quick skirmish, it's all over. Eggs, salsa tortilla's and sausage on the skillet in the breakroom.... dig in.

Took Kaley down to the river for a swim last night. Water was so cold, gave me a headache and I wasn't even to my knees. I guess I'm a wuss, because it was full of tubers, kayakers and canoers. Even kaley was huffin and puffin from the chill though. Couldn't find a decent stick, but she had fun playing submarine, going after the water-logged sticks. Might try it again tonight after work.

My last week was filled with a lot of strange stuff. Best of all was the sinking of a hovercraft in the center of the capital of my province....

I know it's early but pay attention... this is the water cooler. Breakfast is in the break room. Next batch of eggs are ready. Thought about foo-foo in another pot, but then I thought they must have been coddled too much as children if they like the foo-foo stuff, so I opted out...
Left a note for the janitor to sharpen the coffee chisel, so nobody has to remind him again... you know how testy he can be.

 

Morning all. Just got home from an uneventful night at the firehouse, was hoping for fresh pot on the warmer but looks like I was a little late. Oh, well, guess I'll get the wife and kids up and start getting ready for Church. Hope everyone has a great day!!

Got some steak from last night warming to go with my eggs, bout to go eat, then start working around the house. I almost had a heart attack yesterday at Sams, spent almost 900 bucks!!! Didn't even buy any junk, mostly food. Good thing that I did not put that flatscreen tv in the cart that I was looking at...

Houston cloudy and 80*F this morning, with a chance of rain and Tstorms.

Have a working computer finally. It was in the computer Hospital for 3 days. Had a lot of catching up to do, so just getting back here. For the computer, fired Peter Norton. 66 pieces of adware, spyware, malware and other junk that brought in down were removed. Some old programs removed, and it all updated, windows, explorer etc. Runs much better now. Cost $99.00 plus tax. Ad-aware and AVG, the free ones, were installed.

All of us here got flea bittus, so had the Sambo D Dogg dipped and bombed the house, hope that gets rid of them

Charlott, momma spider is toating another cacoon. Maybe will the litter spiders this time.

Cateract operation is a go for Tuseday. Looking forward to being able to see better. The doctor is taking special precautions, as it is my only eye. Have a little periferal vision in my left eye.

Everone is still sleeping, and had my ration of coffee.

Good morn'n from central Mexico. Another great day down here in paradise.
Stopped see if I could find a cup of the so-called coffee, but all I found was an empty, smoking, foul smelling pot and a bunch of dirty coffee mugs lying in some dough nut sprinkles. Sheesh, what a bunch of slops there are around here. Guess the janitor has trained them to become slobs so that he can make everybody think that he is needed here.

 

Gave up on cleaning long a go, he just puts everything back where it was. What was that show I saw with the breed of dog that barks at everything if it is out of it's place?


If you guys can't tell by now... it's a reeeel slow morning here.

 

Pacific Northwest checking in. Almost embarrassing, being so late. Now, I know there isn't a snowball's chance that I'll start off this thread. WAY too many early risers on a day of rest, for some of us. Have ya noticed that if you pick up some of the chiseled chunks of coffee, put them in a cup of hot water, you'll get a fair cup of coffee? Nah, I didn't either.

Well, gotta take care of baby today. She's getting an oil change and fuel filter change. Take care of our babies and they'll take care of us.
