Yeah, Right! It's Geico's fault, if he'd just buy his crickets instead of trying to catch them in the break room, the furniture would stay where it's supposed to.

The janitor leaves the lid of the cage open so he doesn't have to feed the gecko. The lazy gecko just sits on the branch of the plant in the corner waiting for a cricket to pass by. In the mean time, you try to come in here for a cup and it sounds like popcorn walking on all these crickets.

Jimminy Cricket, what in the world, everyone is getting a taste of Geico's snacks. (dang things are in the coffee; cups, pots, and final disposal)
Headed in to school early so I can get caught up on everything. Looks like it has rained down here since I was gone, practice didn't look feasible last night for today.

Mornin' all,
good, Davey awake.
Mid 60's and partly cloudy in Houston. 1 kidlett in the think tank, little kidlett needs a shot before he gets back in the think tank. Took wife to work. Truck into dealer for oil change. With discount cupon $40.00 and change. Next oil chane free. Hmm there ain't no free lunch.

Geico, how bout earthworms, dug up the flower beds yesterday. Lots of them. Hey, it can be a pain in the tail going back for the bird. Have done more than once.

Sherod, when you get your solo, it is a great feeling. Look over at the empty seat, and it all in your capable hands. Go for it.

Geeezzzz, that donut tasted like dirt, , what happened.

MadHat, The judge got her wallet back, so all is well in that department. You have too much fun-run. 'nuff said.

Totallyrad, hey you got the place opened this week, coffee good, what happend to the maid?

Opps, time to take wife to lunch

have a good un and be safe out there.

Afternoon all,

Back from lunch, bowl of Ph`o. Got extra fuel cap keys made, need more that one, now one one each key ring with a truck key. Not may key shops around any more. Most on call mobile units.

Wife hire some help, so she can now get more of her job done. She going up to the head shed in Dallas in a day or two. Prolly bring all the Houston job files back.

Pork steaks on the menu tonight, Do either rice or sliced spuds, and apple sauce. See what is in the pantry. Getting lazy, don't experment much, just fix what the kidletts will eat.

See if I can upload some photos of Switzerland in the gallery.

Have a good rest of the day, and be safe out there.

Just got back from running some errands. I went to the PI museam to get a few things for some friends, and I got stuck talking to this old as dirt retired Marine. He did have a lot of good things to say, amazing history. He was there for many of our most famous battles. I am going to go back and talk to him more when I have time. By the time I got away from him, the stinkin post office was closed, and now I'm poop out of luck until tomorrow. **sigh** oh well. It was worth it, sitting there and talking to a hero! I can only wonder if I would have had the same grit that old man had back then.

My hat's off to you, veterans!

(think I'm gonna start a thread...)

Evenin, all. Josh, quit quitin and get to class!

It almost was a bad night for me... and the guy that pulled out in front of me. I was coming home, (actually doing the speed limit for once ) and some redneck and his redneck wife in a busted chevy lumina car pulled out in front of me, going from the right side of the road to the left. I locked them down, (or tried to at least, those soft 33's won't lock) hit the horn, checked oncoming traffic, pulled hard to the left, and got on the go pedal. The other guy pulled hard to the right, and we got so close, his driver side to my passenger side, that I could see the whites of his eyes, and the beer in his old lady's hand. I mean it was close. I got off the road, and sat there for a minute, I was hot! This jerkwad pulled his car over to my truck, got out, I got out, and him and his OL, (both holding beer cans) said "Your blinker was on!" (with no teath and cut off shorts) Now, I know dang well it was not, the last turn that I made was to the left, and they said my right one was on. I did not say anything, I was imagining what I was about to do to this guy. He asked me if I was ok, I asked him the same, walked over to the right side of my truck (blinker not on) and asked him if we touched. He said no, and repeated that my blinker was on. I did not want to argue with him, so I let it go. He asked me if I was good, I said yeah, and headed back for my truck. He was almost in his car, when I said, "Hey... you know if I would have hit you, my truck would have won." I get in and drive off. There were some pretty good skid marks from the hard turn, I wish that I would have had my camera.

If I had been going 1 MPH faster, or looked down for a second, that would have been all she wrote. I would have came out ok, and the truck would not be too bad, but I would have mashed that guy square in his door. He did not even look my way until I hit the horn. I'm still kinda irked, but I'm glad that I did not kill him. With my truck, at least.

Another day in the life of madhat. Tune in tomorrow...
