Actually, I'm surprised that Gov. Grandstand hasn't tried the Massachusetts approach yet and tried combine the State Police with the county Sheriffs. That worked in Mass... NOT! 
Hat, what're you doin' to those poor recruits? It ain't like they're NEW to torture, you've had them for weeks. Maybe if you tried ASKING them to do things, and saying 'please', they'd respond more favorably!
I hadn't heard about the boy that shot the officers, but I've been following the firefighters in So. Carolina. Lotta sad news this AM.

did you know a squirrel is not that much faster than a golf cart, on flat land?
was a big ole squirrel squattin on his hind quarters, watching traffic go by.
he looked he was king of his domain, just watching, he knew none the cars come off the pavement into his field.
so i angled the golf cart over his way, and he was AMAZED that i had the audacity to drive in his area, much less try and run him over.
he gave me a nasty look, and he bounced off just fast enough to stay away from me.

Yes, certainly a time of bad things happening to good people. Faith, time to heal with the support of so many good people across this Nation though...
Assistance to Firefighters grant was started just for this reason, so many needed things to a special job....tell your Congressman(woman) to stay out of the firemen's money. they want lawyers and politicos to decide who gets what.....mostly for them to 'study the issues'...yeah, right. untouchables should get with the local fire departments to hear what is really needed. REDLEG can dispatch all the politicos to an area, and then MADHAT can OOPS! wrong forum heheheh sorry admin guys!

RABBIT STEW ANYONE? my cat/wolf annihilates anything that moves in a mile radius, unfortunately, she brings it home. CIN and i only make the good stuff for you guys....04 more fun with the water gun on king squirrels..LOL

CHRISR hope the night shift helps the wallet, work the hosses! not harri the wife....and there is NO brother to jake- no fifth dog. my Siberian is loving his new home, I am content with that. they are even sending me a pic in gratitude for giving him up. can't imagine a more perfect situation.

Greetings from Pennsylvania !! Working at a power plant outside of Pittsburgh. Kinda nice to have hi-speed internet again !! Makes DTR surfing a little more enjoyable.

Odd day, daughtger trying to do finals tests for college, she was using a flash dirve, problem is there was not enought space on it to do the test and save it. She had other stuff on the drive. Was blaming the computers.
Now she is using wifes computer, with 2 gig drive, woking ok.
Wife is still at work, catching up on what has to go out tomorrow.
Tomorrow I will ride to work with her and set up the new fax she has, prints out the begining of the faxed doucument, with the confirmation. Should stop the "we never got that fax."
Getting farther behine in the homework with all this going on. Computer runs slow, with the norton checking evverthing.
Wannabe, I keep working on the wife to take better care of herself, and eat better. She can be stubborn. Thanks for the encouragement on the eye surgury,
Thanks also Ijobb, it is a short operation so the doc says. Small incision, blast the old lens, roll up the new lens like a taco, slip it in thru the little hole, and let it unroll into place. Next day ready to go.
Back to the grind.
Have a good un and be safe out there.
