Mornin all.
T-rad keep yourself from melting in the heat find some shade and a cool one of choice. And cover up that dome the reflection is hard on the eyes. A little cloudy here and guru's say 60% chance of showers. 70% tomorrow.
Heidi should have went for the picture. It would and should have been an honor for him to have his pic taken in such esteem company.
Heard some bad news. On the weekend in a small town about an hour or so away someone got hit in the head by lightning. Yesterday I found out that he was a guy I have worked with a number of times. Owns a small hot tap business, and I have welded O-lets and valves on pipe for him so he could do his hot tapping. Hard working family man and all round decent guy. His name is Dave Nyhouse. Still in ICU and only family can come in. Doesn't sound too good. If you could, keep him in your thoughts. Thanks.
See you in a bit. Have fun and drive safe.

would you guys use a "banjo boost bolt" with a hole through it,
or just tap into the intake?
my new boost gage has a litte plastic Tee fitting
why can't i just drill a hole on the interconnecting boots, and slip it in there, and superglue/JB weld it in place?

must be the heat.......drill, tap and JB weld is my choice though BREAKROOM BUDDY!
same weather here as CHIAKWA in Michigan, but windy. no, I don't get bothered by heat or humidity. stupid people maybe, but ....
Glad everyone is in th eknow about hydration, government sends me death notices of firefighters. waaaay too many due to lack of exercise/health care.
four mechanics projects today and bought a new pair of glasses from....WALMART! insurance is done when husband retired. can't complain.
MADHATTER!! good to hear you have insanity glimmers...shows your blood is still red and normal, no marine green change . yet....
walked into a west marine near an army base. guys greeted me like DTR's finest- heave up trice out, smoking lamp is lit, and all that other Navy/Coast Guard jargon I just don't get. guy came in (6'9"!!!) and didn't know what he did to his boat. we all went out to see the prop was flat. seems he kept finding the bottom of the lake. I asked if he was Army, he said 'cavalry major' with pride. Coast Guard retiree said- well that solves that! showed him the nice little button on the dash that said DRIVE up/down. he thought it was an auto pilot or something (cruise control anyone?) instead of the OUTDRIVE that you need to raise up when near shore or launch. I like being an indian and NOT the chief ...know how things work that way..
Heidi thinking of what to make for supper and washing grease off my hands

Officially got to 103 in parts of town today but when I left work the Ram said 104. Predicted high for tomorrow is 103-105 with the index still at 110-112.
I think I'll let it shine, shedding light on the mushroom farmers of life gives me great joy.

Mornin, DTR. Coffee's on. Foo's on for fiver. Ice cream is in the freezer, and snow cone maker is ready to go. Bad hot here, too. Heat index was 119 yesterday, and I'd be willing to put a weeks pay that it was hotter than that on PI.
Stay cool. Hydrate or die.

Ice cream and coffee??? That's the breakfast of champions
Give me a triple
I remember during basic training when it got above a certain heat index (even at Great Lakes Recruit Training Command north of Chicago it got hot) they couldn't take us out on the grinders for drill. The DI's made us sit around in nothing but those horrible GI bathing suits in the barracks and read the Blue Jackets Maunual. Was pretty disgusting, bunch of guys with shaved heads, no shirts and BVD lookin' trunks

I ain't no diabetic. I don't need that 'insolen' stuff. Man, sometimes I just can't figger out what the heck you're talkin' about!
WHAT? I totally agree with you... ANYTHING would help your personality! j/k!
I dunno what the heat index was here yesterday, but it was hot 'nuff to soak my tee-shirt in 5 minutes without do anything but standing there. Rainin' right now and it's still almost 80. I'll still take this heat over the winter cold tho.
Hey, I made a discovery yesterday... I can save coffee if I add another coffee filter under the filter that's already in the machine. I jus' keep addin' filters and I can use the same grounds for DAYS!
2nd pot is ready!
chaikwa.

Mornin' all,
Houston, just another summer day: Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 96. Heat index values as high as 105. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph.
Came down with something the last 2 days, slight fever, aching joints pain in the gut and no ambition. Better today.
With the coffee, snow cone and ice cream time to make an iced mocha, now where is the chocolate
Heidi, I am seeing good after the eye surgery.

Computer went wacko
Typing the last reply, hit the shift key, and it wiped out some of the post and sent it. Had to shut down the computer.
Heidi, got my last two pair of glasses at Walmart, and pleased with them. The stores I went to the optical dept was part of National Vision. Will have new lens made there. o
Wife doing well in school, last term 2 A's 2 B's Courses are getting harder.
Kidletts doing fine.
Hat did a fine job setting up the breakroom for the hot weather.
Not sure what the day will bring today.
5erBob pool is calling you.
Have a good un and be safe out there.

YEP, it did and it was good. In fact, the sun was sooo hot I stayed in it most of the time - - a short time laying out drying off was plenty. Wow, almost think I was in the desert. Now in the cool - - more coffee - - where is the foo foo - - that pink pot is empty. Well, it is not empty - - there is something down there. Getting hammer and chisel - - yep, something black chipping out of there. Hmmm, tastes like - - - YUK. OK, make my own when I get home. Somebody left that sucker on the burner. Put some water in it and on the burner set on low, Scott. Give it a day or so, it should soften up.
