Wink Ahhhh, a little bit of projects gone right....

finished off Bar b Q grill and didn't even use it sloppy joes started calling instead...

made friends with my Harley again, mad at me and decided not to keep gas in the carb....took everything off to find a slight miss in a new gasket (defect).
nothing a little gasket goop can't fix....

love this 04 CTD single rear, short box one ton!! town worked on repairing all the erosion on my land (funny how that coincides with being a councilman nominee) to tip the big loader off the shoulder. dump too big to off set the pull (no big chains either). ten ton chain loads and the little dodge pulled it back on the road and up the 20 percent grade here. engine made it's presence known, no spin on tires (low four), simply walked back to the barn...
too bad ya can't take a picture AND drive!!

MADHATTER! think of this week as all new and fresh! yippee!!!! toss a salt tablet too....says mom...

CHAIKWA- dentist pull your tongue? I called you pal...

Davey- nope no license upgrade for me, just working on rescue navigation and radio procedures. this is me and a compass- best technology I use!!
Coast Guard reference was for three foot swells in the 9 knot current before a storm with the big boat. all by myself and loving it- yes I had a PFD and a kill switch remote. Passed an upbound ocean tug that left six feet of air under me from a wake. knowing how to be nice to your boat is a very good reason I test my self every six months afloat. too expensive to pay for damages...eek

WAKE EM UP RIGHT TOMORROW AM, CHRIS!!!

Heidi happy to be on the cool side of NY

Yes, I know you did. I got the Nextel notification around 1 this AM. I didn't think you'd appreciate a call at that hour, not to mention I wasn't in the best of moods after bein' woke up an hour after I went to bed just to find out it was a voice mail I shoulda got HOURS ago.... I HATE NEXTEL!

Thunnerin' an' lightnín' here this mornin'. Still hot an' muggy too tho. 81 degrees at 0630... reminds me of Florida!

Bob, your foo-foo is ready. You want me to put it in a florescent orange pot so a 'man your age' can find it easier?

The real coffee's ready too.

If you can't find that special coffee pot, I would bet Top has a spare one sitting around (look right next to the magnifying screen he uses for viewing his PC).

And thanks for the real coffee, I'm sure it will be real bad as usual

Up and at 'um one and all. Ready to go, I think. Well, at least I'm up. Packed lunch. Sorry for everyone's heat. Looks like we're going to swelter in the 70's today...nature's air conditioner is working. Time to leave for the drive. Not as long as some, longer than others, but when in a Ram, who cares?

Mornin' all,
Houston: Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 95. Heat index values as high as 105. South wind between 5 and 10 mph.
Uniform of the day: Shorts and Shower clogs.

Chaikwa, 'bout time you showed up and got that good you make going, and even made foo-foo Wow, you must be looking for a raise. Thanks for making it. Don't have to put it in the orange pot, Bob will follow the donut sprinkles on the floor to the foo-foo pot. *****>>>>
NWDave, a tipical Puget Sound heat wave, summer, the rain is warmer.

Geico, what are tropical hours, come in late, got to lunch early, com back late to make up for it. Then go home early to make up for comming late? Sounds good to me.
Wannabe, have fun on the Harley and the boat. The younger generation can't use a compass. Have done a lot of navigation with a clock and a compass. Dead reconing. Works well.

Hat, one week down, keep on going, have to teach the recruits to run faster, or the would not have been on caught, and on probation.
Take care of them and yourself in the heat.

ChrisR, take care of yourself, and the horses in the heat. Gatoraid helps if your out in the heat, replaces the salts you sweat out.

Dieseldude, start the Friday vacation project with out me, Won't be able to make it in time. Enjoy the vacation.

Totallyrad, I didn't know you were a math major. Like the way you did that.

Have a good un and be safe out there.

Evening all, the weather rock says "Help me, I'm mellllting". It was warm again today, about 101 with a heat index of 106. The next three days should be in the tripples with the index in the 110-112 range. I may go on half days just so I can live longer. Scott, if I had known you hated Nextel so bad I would have been calling you on it just to give you something to complain about. (Like you need a reason) Hope you all stay safe in the heat.

Chris, the reason you don't see anybody up is because we're already out working. Speaking of working, I have a shovel with your name all over it...

Work! And LOTS of it! Seems like every customer I have decides to call at once with projects that need to be done yesterday. Except Sam, I haven't heard from him since you were out here! (thankfully)

Got the old center section of the rear end in the bucket truck removed and the new one installed yesterday. Truck still moves, so I guess I did it right!

Rad, I'll send ya my Nextel Direct Connect number... I never have service so it won't matter anyway!

NWDave, who is 'KARMA'? Heidi's sister?

2nd pot brewin' as we speak.

chaikwa.
