Weather is perfect, warm in the daytime and cools off at night. Yard got a trim yesterday so looks like someone actually lives here. Took most of the day but it was worth it.

Hat the coffee is just right. Curls your nose hairs when you take a sip. Hows this group doing? Haven't heard any complaining... doesn't do any good anyway I guess.

DD Invite Mad up for your next meeting on discipline I'm sure he could come up with some interesting scenarios for corrective action.

Heidi congrats on the hubby's retirement. I'm sure you can keep him busy.

Have fun and drive safe.

Wink Boppin' in before the Big show.....prison working people love food and small talk

run the harley around to do errands...sure got funny looks after coming out of the hair dresser's (who tames my hair ala brother CHAIKWA) with fancy braided hair (think Cinderella, who I definitely do not look like)

fun to go to the usual car parts places like that, they don't know who I am until I speak.

CHAIKWA is busy busy for the month, heck of a good man to rip apart your big work truck (not with the backhoe though) and rebuild it for the next 20 years of use. So slack him on the coffee, he may get confused or ticked off and use brake cleaner for decaffe.......

'The USUAL GROUP" now I liek that too FiverBOB! nothing usual is right!
Good try to keep in touch MADHAT! yeah, ask CHAIKWA- I will ride the motorsickle down there JUST to deliver hot eggs and ham, you are worth it young fella! hug them kids! Then go rattle MasterChief 04's cage, heheh

had to go to the bank with an armed guard to pay the boat mechanic for some repairs on the big boat...that is worse than sending doctor's kids to college!! and the doc's know nothing further after two months of tests, sheesh! should send THEM back to school.....shoulda played doctor when I was younger

CHRISR REDLEG, keep on thumpin' fellas! Best to ya on the hosses or heaviest little chevy ever.....that would be ga run teed if ya let CHAIKWA build for ya!

okay, fellas I am trying NOT to end up skinny dippin' in the pond tonight
so I have the GAME FACE on for tonight's festivities
Got word he is the YOUNGEST lieutenant to retire. I told him to shave off his white beard and re take his retirement ID to prove it. will show ya guys a before and after tomorrow!

Afternoon all,

Had the heavy rain shower for the afternoon. Lunch munch done, BBQ wings, tater salad and fries. Kids got it at the wing shop. Yum.

Geico, if you get a chance, can you post some pix of the plane you demo? I still got 100 octane in my veins. How was Oshkosh?

ChrisR as long as you can keep track of your days off it will be good.

FiverBob, were you out in the rain? Floating in the pool with an umbrellaUnusual group would be a more fitting name IMHO.

Wannabe them doctors are still practicing, ON YOU and they still have car payments.
Congrats to hubby retirement, will you be able to post pix of the party? Enroll him in massage school, give him something to do, and you get your back rubs.
What a deal.

Big dumb dog knocked the spider cage off the outside window ledge and it was a jail break. She still had her cocoon.

Running foxfire, down loaded it, see if I like it, don't appear to be any faster than IE.

Have a good un and be safe out there.

As the sun heads over the horizon in a couple of hours, on the left coast, I bid you all evening greetings.

Davey- I think they're done paving "my" section of '20'. Anyway, the drive is always better when you drive a RAM, you ought to know that...... Now, it's all the tourist's out to stare at the ferry and run down to Whidbey Island at 20 mph.....in a 50mph zone.

It's HYDROPLANE weekend, Blue Angels are in Seattle....Looking forward to some REAL thunder.

Evening, all. Paperwork is still killing me. Had to take a break for some joe. Evening pot's on. Kids are not doing all that well, it's a pretty rough bunch. Already had a couple of hard quitters, and some law problems. Can anyone say... grand theft auto, then try to duck out of it be coming to PI?

Sick as a dog. 2 on, 1 off duty nights, cause the 3rd hat is new and can't stand duty.

That's the good parts.

Small price to pay to be one of the worlds finest.

Later...

Morning all.

Where's the coffee and the cholesterol pills? Someone forgot to get the pot ready?

Woke up and couldn't fall back to sleep. I hate when that happens. Oh well start the day off early and maybe follow the retirees and have a nap in the afternoon.

Saw the pictures of the bridge, or whats left of it. What a mess that is. Heart goes out to the family's that are affected.

Catch you in a bit.

Mornin' all,

Ijobb, CLICK pot, bang, the coffee pot is on, foo-foo on the back burner, Only a few sprinkles left from the donuts.
Houston:Mostly Cloudy 78°F (26°C) SLIGHT chance of rain.
Redleg, you got tornado warnings there, or you just playing with the siren?

NWDave, good that the hwy 20 in your section is finished. Is the DOT scales still there on 20. It was about the last old style scale where you couldpull onto and weigh your truck, it was closed most of the time, and if they were open and not busy they would gladly weigh your truck, and glad for some one to come in and visit. Miss the Seafare weekend and the Blue Angeles, thunderboat races and all the fun. Remember when Tex Johnson rolled the Boeing 707 over the hydo race course?
Halfpint, you going to be at the races?

Hat, take care of yourself, lots of , you will weed out the bad apples and have a good bunch when you finish their training. Your the finest.

Still quiet around here, wife getting up for work. Not sure what I will fd in my job jar for today yet.

Have a good un, and be safe out there.

6th Monday this week. 7 more and I get a weekend off Then 41 more before a weekend off just hope the boss hooks me up with overtime pay
The wiring project is finished. Fingers and eyeballs are sore from all the little bitty wires. Smoke test went good with no "blue smoke" relay being activated.
Starting the power system mods Monday. All the liquid filled silver-zinc batteries are being replaced with Lithium-Ion. New wiring harnesses and such.
This place is either feast or famine.

OSH was awsome! Better than ever. Great news for sport pilots in that Cessna has announced they have orders for 600 of the @$110K a pop. That's $66,000,000 in orders in a week. Buy Cessna stock!

I was there and saw the 2 P-51 crash. Not pretty. Things happen to the best of pilots.

Here it is!
