Afternoon gang - - - got back late this afternoon. Great time seeing some old business associates and see the son in his new position. Going well.
Hey, hey - - - what is this California orange juice stuff???? Florida only!!!! Sorry about the 29 degrees. We downloaded for a while in Orlando yesterday by the pool. Then the tornado warnings went up, sky got dark and it rained good. Temp was 81 when we pulled in the house today. Gorgeous. Sorry about the nasties up your way.
Wow, that stuff is pretty good -- I think??????..................Oh yeh, you mis-spelled a word - - - you missed the "U" - - - PHLAVOUR - - shape up.
Our tub is now 75 with no heat applied. Not bad for this time of year.
Hey, I don't want that for you - - - only good stuff - - you had enough. Shape up.
Hmmm, not sure I will know how to deal with these changes. ............................
Ain't no way mine will fit your big behind. Use your own. ............
OK, gotta unpack and settle in.
Bob
Mornin... took the day off, drinking some coffee and feeling like I've been kicked down the stairs a few times. Gotta quit being weak and go see the doc, I guess. Maybe they'll just shoot me or something. Just some mild injuries from the last deployment bothering me, nothing serious.
OK, gotta unpack and settle in.

wow, not nice things coming over the gov lines...seems someone had some info that this was gonna happen. real reason everyone was kicked (no tours) outta the white house I guess. are hoodies and backpacks gonna be banned like guns?
gorgeous day, did a lot. even took a hot bath, no bubbles (wink). no offers accepted either...
Madhatter, eek. A diet seems to follow empty wallet.....
why the bike in the truck? parking efficiency? lol
glad you are overseeing Fiver, and not headed back to the grind like Stan.
syrup done, yay. good stuff though, happy I saved some. appearantly a tradition is half syrup half whiskey shot for good run next season.
just sounds like a waste of each....i'll push my luck next year.

It's just weakness...
Nah, I'm already on a diet. It just keeps getting ruined by the OL...
No, I have to get some paperwork signed so I can register it in FL from here... my AZ registration expired in March, so I gotta load it up and take it to the base. I was a little busy in March, so I didn't get a chance to ride it over to the base. Gotta figure out the Army standards as well... I think you have to wear glow vests or some garbage like that. I hope they give me a Marine Corps waiver...
Mornin, all. Coffee, time to go to work.
Stay classy, DTR.

Last year in New York City, there were 2200+ confirmed incidences of terrorism. And I'm not talking about threats, these were incidents that were well thought out and executed. The last one of the year was a special needs school bus that was implanted with a remotely controlled IED. I can't say how authorities were tipped off, but the device was discovered and removed about 1/2 mile before the bus reached its' intended target, and had 10 children on board. The children weren't the target of the IED, a family's home next to a bus stop was the actual target, the children just happened to be on the bus when it arrived at the bus stop. The bus driver was fired because if he had done his morning inspection of the bus like he was supposed to, he would have found the IED.
Terrorism goes on every day here in the US. We only hear of the incidences that involve LOTS of death and injury. When only 2, 3, or 5 people are injured, it's not newsworthy. 3 deaths and hundreds of injured make better news stories.
Good morning. It is Tuesday, April 16th.
1818 - The U.S. Senate ratified Rush-Bagot amendment to form an unarmed U.S.-Canada border.
1851 - A lighthouse was swept away in a gale at Minot’s Ledge, MA.
1862 - In the U.S., slavery was abolished by law in the District of Columbia.
1922 - Annie Oakley shot 100 clay targets in a row, to set a women's record.
1944 - The destroyer USS Laffey survived immense damage from attacks by 22 Japanese aircraft off Okinawa.
1945 - American troops entered Nuremberg, Germany.
1947 - In Texas City, TX, the French ship Grandcamp, carrying ammonium nitrate fertilizer, caught fire and blew up. The explosions and resulting fires killed 576 people.
1968 - The Pentagon announced that troops would begin coming home from Vietnam.
1975 - The Khmer Rouge Rebels won control of Cambodia after a five years of civil war. They renamed the country Kampuchea and began a reign of terror.
2007 - In Blacksburg, VA, a student killed 33 people at Virginia Tech before killing himself.
Today's thought:
To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target.
C0ffee and ph00 are ready.
Have a nice day!

Good morning all of ewe's. After yesterdays happnins' I don't really have much to say. It sickens me that this happened.....AGAIN....on our home turf. Oh, the consequences that would follow if I were in charge of this country and caught the turd(s) who did that. I'll just keep my mouth shut this morning before the BAN HAMMER is swung upside my head.
Grabbing some coffee.....see ya'll.

[QUOTE=madhat;3179129]It's just weakness... sorry son, it's age, snicker snicker
so I didn't get a chance to ride it over to the base. Gotta figure out the Army standards as well... ??? what are you, at my ol home Ft Jackson?!
I think you have to wear glow vests or some garbage like that. road guard belt and run along side the bike
I hope they give me a Marine Corps waiver... on a Honda? pul leeeeeeeaaaaase. non harley riders have to wear the 'Pageant winner' sash because the bikes are not able to be heard
sorry. couldn't resist a lil smack talk. taking son's jeep back to him, then riding back on hubby's bike before the rain hits/in the rain/in the snow.
Tim, you have a Candyland heart anyways! glad you are Blessed, maybe you could get a grandson and smile through the tears when playing with plastic tools I had to endure tea parties and dress up from my friend's son. I tried to corrupt him with tools and trucks. Now he is a high school senior math whiz, drama star including paid shows and has a 1,000+ following of girls on social media. they actually swoon at performances.
.....but he still can't change a tire without instruction.
