Why do you find those two things annoying? Too many syllables? Or are you still looking for the words that start with any letter that comes after 'Z' in the alphabet?

Uh huh... after this morning's coffee, you just wait and see what's in the next package!

It's a great morning, ain't it? I think it is! Anytime I can verbally assault the intellectually impaired before I finish my first cup of coffee, I KNOW it's going to be a great day!

Today is Wednesday, August 19th.

On this day in 1692 - Five women and a clergyman were executed after being convicted of witchcraft in Salem, MA.

1812 - "Old Ironsides" (the USS Constitution) won a battle against the British frigate Guerriere east of Nova Scotia.

1919 - Afghanistan gained independence from Britain.

1934 - Adolf Hitler was approved for sole executive power in Germany as Fuehrer.

1942 - About 6,000 Canadian and British soldiers launched a raid against the Germans at Dieppe, France. The suffered about 50 percent casualties.

1960 - Francis Gary Powers, an American U-2 pilot, was convicted of espionage in Moscow.

1978 - 400 people were killed in a theater in Abadan, Iran. Moslem extremists set the fire, which is surprising seeing as how the Moslem extremists are such a gentle people.

Ouch! That's going to leave a mark.

That's right, get him fired up, like he needs any help.

Hey Scott, do you ever wake up on the right side of the bed? With all those sheep around to make anyone happy I find it hard to believe anything could be that grumpy..

And I refuse to accept it.. Then again, sure beats the days of Fluffysquatch. Those were some weird and awkward times of the DTR Breakroom.

Well, since no one is here I'm going to see how many beers it takes to get the dragon drunk.. This is gonna get real interesting.
