Morning all,

Who left the coffee pot on, its got a half inch of tar in the bottom now. Tsk tsk tsk...

And it smells in here.... sticky too...

Ill get the fresh coffee on, new Dunkin Donuts DTR Blend, thick as syrup and darker than the smoke Mad leaves at the dump. The DTR blend is a lovely concoction of DD's best sweepings, brewed with water fresh from Chaikwa's sheep trough. Was gonna filter it through Mads campaign but couldnt find it, he must be putting it to use.

Tea, Ph00 and Dew ready too.

Look, if you're going to do this, do it right; you use water from the urinal, preferably the #3 urinal in the 2nd floor washroom. And you use toilet paper for filter material.

Morning all, altho I don't know how good it's going to be with the weak excuse for coffee that was made today.

Today is Tuesday, August 18th.

On this day in 1735 - The "Evening Post" of Boston, MA, was published for the first time.

1846 - Gen. Stephen W. Kearney and his U.S. forces captured Santa Fe, NM.

1894 - The Bureau of Immigration was established by the U.S. Congress.

1914 - The "Proclamation of Neutrality" was issued by U.S. President Woodrow Wilson. It was aimed at keeping the U.S. out of World War I. And like today's coffee, it just didn't work.

1920 - Tennessee ratified the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The Amendment guaranteed the right of all American women to vote.

1940 - Canada and the U.S. established a joint defense plan against the possible enemy attacks during World War II.

Well Geez,

'cuse me for trying to spice up things and add a little bit different flavor to something.

Heres a little more history for you, this part was left out...

Today is Tuesday, August 18th.

On this day in 2009, Chaiwka woke up his normal grumpy self and spread his usual "Cheer" served cold with a tall glass of sacarsm.

Mernin Rick,

Was just looking at the tropics, Ana has deteriorated into a disturbance. Hope it doesn't gain strength when it gets into the gulf. It was dead on for the MS/AL coast, but it seems like lately all the storms have been walking west of the predicted course. Dont wanna deal with another storm this year.

Morning, Claudette strengthened when it hit the gulf but it was a little better organized than Ana, we'll see.

There are so many days like that for him. Sometime it even includes a swift kick in the backside!

Morning DTR, got a little rain last night. Got a project to do today out in the garage. Something for the center pieces for the wedding reception. It involve me, the drill press, and using a special bit to drill into some glass blocks. This should be interesting, never really drilled into glass before.

Dang Claude, can't a guy get the night off, or do you want me to work for free? Jeez, the guy's worse than the governor...

Heidi should be playing with power tools, so not likely to hear much from her.

Shhhhhh....Tell the janitor to not try and clean the upstairs bathroom. I am still hiding from in-laws and am staying in here until they leave. At least it smells better than the kitchen.
