Morning everyone.
It's easier to show her the roads that do NOT have construction than the ones that do!
It's Sunday, August 16th.
On this day in 1812 - Detroit fell to Indian and British troops in the War of 1812.
1861 - U.S. President Lincoln prohibited the Union states from trading with the states of the Confederacy.
1920 - The only fatality to occur in a major league baseball history happened. Ray Chapman (Cleveland Indians) was hit in the head with a fastball from Carl Mays of the New York Yankees.
1960 - The free-fall world record was set by Joseph Kittinger. He fell more than 16 miles (about 84,000 feet) before opening his parachute over New Mexico.
1978 - Xerox was fined for excluding Smith-Corona Mfg. from the copier market. The fine was $25.6 million.

Morning all. Heading out in a few but just wanted to leave y'all with a smile this morning. Eric, 'ol buddy, you're preparing for the arrival of a little girl. They're cute, smell good (most of the time) and will wrap you're heart up like a Christmas package but, along the way.........
Mark, sorry you're having to sweat it out this morning.

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
Good morning to everybody, all and sundry. Sometimes I suspect that the 'sundry' is the norm here at DTR. i.e. dancing sheep? Misspellings of course are the norm. As for the flying stuff, I presume that means all the BS flying around here.
Here is something real to add to the flying stuff;

What's that strong, obnoxious, strange smell here?
