Helloooo to DTR 's finest!

still swoony over Valentine's day.

Bark, as a MP I got swoony over the films of activities I didn't even know existed.....we did ENTs when someone snored....everyone paid attention in the most boring classes or briefings.

nice to watch men's hockey win over Russia. watched the 80 team when it meant something....

want to clear out empty boxes, snowing and blowing too much.

Obama and media have ruined the olympics for me

Fiver- I have blueberry almond (some Alaskan coffee blend) and it is heavenly!!!!! good hot or cold.

You forgot unlimited practice last evening starting at 6 on fox sports 1

Morning all cold and snow but 70s come the weekend should be a nice muddy mess where I ride my four wheeler
Only on one channel.
Are you near the Hatfield-McCoy trails? I'd kinda like to get down there someday. Yeah, when I say someday, probably never happen. Like the powerball ticket I bought yesterday actually being a winner.

Going to go look at a truck today. 95 1 ton. Not overly interested. Too flashy and over priced for the miles. If it had mods and upgrades, then maybe.

NE the nearest trail head, The Pocauhuntas system, is only 9 miles from my house and Indian ridge is about 12 miles beyond that. Both those systems are connected.

You need to make the time to come on down to ride it gets aufully dusty from June thu the middle of Sept. make the time for trailfest in Sept it the worlds largest gathering of ATVs

Good morning all y'all, this week was crazy busy at work and not much quieter at home so I haven't had much chance to post. I did a few drivebys to see what everyone was up to but really just a quick peek here and there. It is great to see that we have 14 pages of posts in the breakroom this week. I hope there isn't a correlation between me not being here and the post count being up
It is a beautiful and warm weekend on the edge of the prairies. For better or worse, I have work to do this weekend. The snow drifts have gotten deep in the driveway, DW and I want to go to Bass Pro to get a new smoker and the garage door opener went south yesterday. Oh yeah, the alternator belt in the Echo started squealing yesterday too
I am really hoping the garage door opener can be repaired. It sounds like the nylon drive sprocket has stripped - I suspect I let the tension get too low for the chain. The garage isn't heated so I am really glad that the weather is warm.

I tend to stay out of political discussions but seeing the lines of conversation this week I thought that a few of you might want to chime in on this.

The Canadian gov't announced recently that the Canada Pension Plan is running out of money. At the same time, there is no shortage of funds for the welfare programs. Are you kidding me - pension is paid for by people who work, welfare is taken by people who don't work. Why don't we cover the shortfall in pension funding by decreasing welfare spending.

Have a safe and productive Saturday everyone.

Trouble with a lot of stuff (even stuff out here in farm country) is so much of it is scheduled when we're all busy. The boss' kid is headed on a trip with church or FFA the first of July, right when we should be starting to cut wheat. IHC collector's fall sale is often in Nebraska, usually in October, when we are picking corn. Tough to make anything in May while planting corn and beans, too. And we're well into picking corn by mid-September as well.

Watched a few helmet-cam videos of those trails. You don't really realize how much slope some are on til you catch a tree right on the edge of the trail.
And for some reason I'm thinking the old 300 arctic cat wouldn't feel up to too much of some of them hills.

That was an exciting game - - had me rooting and yelling. Then I got real quiet and the wife wanted to know if I was OK. Yeh, but I was thinking that I am acting like this goofy guy on the forum named Bark - - he would be doing something like this. .............
OH, that ph00 blend sounds amazing - - I can smell it clear down here. .............

We have been missing you - - but knowing you were snowed in, I thought maybe you fell into a snow drift and we might not see you for a couple more weeks before you could dig your way out. And, don't get too excited about this gubment money stuff - - I think it is something about North America that has infected both our countries legislators. The people that work hard for their money are the only ones that think straight anymore. Hey, they have to buy them votes from those that want the giveaways - - that is how they keep their cushy jobs with all the benies. Oh mercy, you got me going ..............................

Supper time - - CYA.

Good news, bad news. A couple butt connectors and some tape, and a new bulb, and I got tail and brakes lights on the truck again. Bad news, still no back-up lights, and there's gear lube all over the inside of my right rear tire

bad news is right! nothing can be simple anymore ....

talked with happy janitor who also had a tift with a drift....

sent in taxes, went downstairs into hot tub, orange beer and buckwheat pancakes. ahhhh all relaxed. opened eyes to hubby staring over me and cat on tub edge. not relaxed anymore....

looking for a good movie....
