... well, I'd go looking for the person who changed the title ... but that would mean moving away from my little heater under the desk and THAT AIN"T HAPPENIN !!!

Went to the ammo bunkers yesterday with the inspectors and came upon 6 deer lazily grazing on the side of the bunker. We coaxed the big buck over but when he saw that we had no food to offer him he kinda turned up his nose and walked off. The does were curious but didn't come over. Just like a petting zoo out there.

Wifey said that they were under a tornado warning again yesterday ... haven't heard from her yet this morning so I hope they didn't blow away

Well ... lots to do. Catch you all later. HAVE A GREAT NAVY DAY !!!

November 16th and the morning temps are in the upper 60s.
That's due to change ~1400hrs when the cold front comes through accompanied by predicted 60mph winds and temps dropping into the 30s tonight.
Ahhhhhhhh, Autumn in DC.

Coffee's in the thermos.
Cornbread's all gone.

Contractors are changing the windows in my office.
Hopefully this winter, on windy days, it will no longer be necessary to tie bricks to the bottom edge of the curtains.

Y'all B safe.

Brrrr.
The cold is on its way to you Ed and you are welcome to it.
36* here this am. Need to find a woolly union suit.
Thought the winds yesterday would blow my tiny (she went to get her flu shot yesterday and the nurse had to ask her if she weighed more than 100 lbs.) wife away, no such luck though.
Thought I might have to scrape the windows this morning, but lucked out. The temp served as a reminder to put the snow brush/scraper in the truck.

Got chocolate covered macadamia nuts and coffee at my desk
Help yourself.

Today is disassembly day at our old disaster recovery site, disconnecting ~350 computers and taking them off of tables so we can move the tables to the new disaster recovery site 50 miles away and put different machines on them tomorrow. Yep, company's too stinkin' cheap to buy new tables.

Worst part for a late-shift guy like me is having to be somewhere that's a 30 minute drive away at 0800 rather than a 10 minute drive away at 1000. Two days in a row! I'm gonna need my in an IV.

If we can sue Mc'Ds for the coffee being too hot, can we sue Canada for sending this cold air down here? Can we build a wall?

Wonder if all that wind was the air displaced as Scotty headed south?

High here is supposed to be 25 or so, wind chill right now of 2, low of 6 or 8. Got insulation shot into the walls and attic of the house this fall, and have insulated the walls and hung plastic sheeting on the ceiling of the garage. After I get some sheetrock hung, and some insulation blown in the roof of the garage, I'll be just so energy efficient I can't stand it. Which is the way to be with the way natural gas prices are going here the last few years.

OK you northerners - - quit it. Cold front coming in tomorrow - - hate that. The high will only be 72 - - wow, I will have to turn on the pool heater again - - hate that. Going down to 61 tomorrow night - - hate that. I may have to put on a long sleeve shirt - - hate that. Maybe even jeans instead of shorts - - hate that.

Oh well, just have to drink more Florida Orange juice - - if I can find some - - it's all imported now - - hate that. I'm just full of hate today - - "cold" weather does that to me.

Have a good one,
FreezingBob
