Got to get up pretty early in the AM to get one over on this ol skimmer. Or stay up late?

Okay not so late, it's only 9:30. But I'm tired guys! I've been working hard all day. And besides the Red Green Show is on.

You heard the Captain! Now who started the thread on Sat night when it should have been started Sunday at 00:00:01 hours. Fess up you lilly livered scallywags.

BEAGLE1! I caught the offending party Sir! He did it Sir! I'll see to it he is drawn & quatered, made to walk the plank, keel hauled, put on and bread & water for a month, reduced a rank & pay grade, and I'll take away his B-day this year.

You hear that Beagle1! No Birthday!

(I kinda noticed the date was changed. You admin guys must have changed the time to make me look bad!!! IT'S A CONSIPACY! . I was tired guys! I had to hit the rack! Cut me some slack! I had the midwatch the day before! )

It would take the next 24 hours to knock out the pile of dishes I have been accumulating in my sink !! I really hate doing squaw work.

I had good intentions of getting out and taking the bike for a ride today ... but then the clouds started spitting again ... and I opted for a nice dry afternoon on the confuser. Y'all are sure motivated people ... this place is always a ghost town on the weekends. Get's kinda lonely around here sometimes .

Cheers,

Had I not actually been a sailor and know what that means, I think I would have had some other idea about its meaning

Worked yesterday again. 2 Saturdays in a row. Brings my total in the last 8.5 years to about 7 Saturday worked. Still can't complains Especially since the system we are trying to deliver could potentially save hundreds of our service men and women's lives. Nothing like a little motivation to keep you going

Gonna go see "Talladega Nights" with the wife today and spend money at Best Buy. Typical Sunday here.

Rob ... are ya planning to mount an R2-D2 on top of an armored assault vehicle or what ??

Sounds like a worth while project !! I bet you told everyone that you were getting out of the Navy so you wouldn't ever have to work another Saturday, didn't ya ??? Thanks for putting in the extra time !!

PW,
If by R2-D2, you mean the Phalanx CIWS (Close in weapons system), nope.

Can't say too much, but here is another public link:
Check out this news release (soft launch described towards bottom)

Besides we had CIWS onboard the Wainwright and the FC's said it stood for "Christ, It Won't Shoot"

Monday....

Coffee's ready, where's the donuts?
Sunny & hot with no rain in today's forcast, tomorrow's a different story.

Noticing that last fillup of 45 cetane fuel seems to be giving me improved MPGs

Is it 1500 hrs yet?

Great sunrise this am. Lots of rain this weekend so farmers are happy and so is my lawn.

Temps this week in the 80's so it looks like the hot stuff may be over?

Looks like the small-town cops are on the ball as well... I know it's old news now but sounds like a target we've joked and wondered about for awhile now has been confirmed. What the media hasn't mentioned yet is on Labor Day there will be about 10,000 people walking across this bridge... even more important (and I think a far bigger target of opportunity) is that FiverBob is going to be comeing across it before long. They'll probably think all that snow he's bringing back down is suspicious and detain him a while anyway...
