OK I am almost afraid to try but give up some of that Have been on shift for a hour now and sucking wind allready 2000 hrs Iraq time. The locals decided that they would keep me up all day with there lil games in town blowing things up at random. Just when i get to sleep BOOM trailer rattles hit the deck and wait for more then back to sleep repeat an hour later. But at least i have DTR to keep me sane. Thank goodness for the HESCO baskets and concrete barriers. Now where is the So i can patch the holes in my walls.

Sarge,....it's tough to DRIVE 20 miles this early in the morning.
Can ya come back around 0900 when I'm fully awake?........

Warm this morning, starting to drizzle, rain due in this afternoon.

Hope the workload allows me to slip a Power-Nap into the schedule.

Y'all stay safe,

Geico,
How can anyone sleep in when someone (spelled "TOP") comes in banging around. No consideration at all - - just make noise to be a pain. SHHEEESSSHHHH There, I feel better now.

So, there is no coffee - - all you do is make noise and leave without putting on the coffee???? SHHEEEESSSSHHHH Oh well, here goes some wonderful almond cream coffee with homemade nanner bread. It's on the counter - - come and get it.

Gotta go get to work - - some more. UUUGGGHHHHH

Are you still living in the van.....down by the river?

How are the repairs coming on your bruised truck?

I'll pass on the 20 miler Top, thanks for the kind offer . Today was my last Physical Readiness Test ... and I decided to go out strong (Thank God for 800mg Motrin !!). Best PRT I have done in 20 years. Got a mile and half done in 10:32 ... without coughing up a lung .

Later in the day, our LAN administrator took me for a cruise in his 02 Porsche Turbo .... (400 and some odd horses) ....good Lord !!! 110mph before we got off the on-ramp and fully merged into Autobahn traffic ... and then he gave it some gas . Since there was traffic due to it being a German holiday, he only had room for 130mph, but it was fun getting there. Then he pulled off the road and let me "kick it in the backside" for the ride home. I wasn't even done looking for a clear spot in traffic in the fast lane and the thing was rolling at 110 and not even breathing hard. Felt like 70 to me ... nice and smoooooooth

Mrs. Pistol already said NO .... and I didn't even get to ask the question .

No, there was no coffee. I forgot to set it up last night so you were on your own this morning. And I better not find out that you made that "wonderful almond cream coffee" in MY coffee pot! That foo-foo crap will ruin the taste of a well seasoned pot, and I worked hard to get it to just the right flavoring!

Redleg's still prob'ly cowering in the bushes... anyone think to check on him to make sure he's ok?

And poor Chris prob'ly has frostbite from stayin' in that old van.

Jeeez, I leave early ONE DAY, and the whole place falls apart!

I'm sleepin' in tomorrow, so there better be NO trash can throwing!

The coffee is all set up for mornin', so no whining about "no coffee, poor me" tomorrow. AND NO FOO-FOO JUNQUE EITHER!!!

The Janitor Hath Spoketh!

Cooler weather this morning, drizzly rain pretty much gone, winds picking up.
Wet leaves on the roads........several drivers in the morning rush hour have decided to check the Roll-Over protection designed into their vehicles.

Morning news reporting the manufacturing plant that makes Plastic Pink Flamingos is due to shut their doors.
Wal-Mart and several thousand trailer parks are preparing to lower their flags to Half-Mast and observe a moment of silence.

Coffee is ready.

Hey, good man - - you figured out how to push the "ON" button on that coffee pot. Tastes good in spite of not being Almond Creme. And you were quiet - - yeh.

Maybe a touch of rain today, then clear again - - sure pretty out right now. Time for the morning dip - - see ya.
