I guess I forgot to tell the dogs that we set the clocks back last night.
Instead of yapping at 0500, they started at (now) 0400.......

Coffee pot ready, no activity in the kitchen yet.

Winds finally died down last evening.

Good morning chaps, glad to see some activity. Been up for a couple of hours now, setting clocks and the like. Quite nippy this morning, getting another pot of coffee on to brew. Have to wait a while for the Missus to get rolling this morning, we are fighting some chest congestion in the house. Hope everyone has a great morning, and a great week.

Gonna be a slow week here in the breakroom I suspect. Everytime we get the skuttlebutt sign on the door, no one comes in. Oh well, all the more donuts for me!

That's cause everytime the thread is named Skuttlebutt you lock the door to the break room in protest, and you bring out that petified coffee cake you got 3 years ago that we use as homeplate at the office party this summer.

time change is great i wont have 1/3 of employees show up on mon. they all forgot to change clocks sat. Every one of them has a cell phone or nextel those clocks get set automatically but they say that they didn't use phone sunday. Sometimes I wish I was an employee again.

Spring comes and they will somehow remember and show up on time griping about how they're sooo tired from losing that 1 hour of sleep.
We went to the Truck/Tractor pulls yesterday and was glad to see the wind and sun so it would dry out the track in time for pulling,,,,, it did,,,,, and then the sun went down that evening and MAN it got nippy! Stamey pulled once, which was good for a trophey, however he thinks he broke another axle again even though he forgot to turn his box up,,,,,, OOPS! It was still a good time and still did a lot of BSing with Papa Smurf, Navy Chief, and a few others.
Guess I'll have to go into work today after playing hookie yesterday. Oh well,,, maybe things will be quiet so I can at least watch the NASCAR race.

They don't come in because when you hang the skuttlebutt sign on the door, they think it's a navy latrine. Got the "other" coffe pot out, coffee's on.

Hopefully I'll have the stove pretty much finished tomorrow. Gotta lay the pex next weekend, and fit a bird outing in there somewhere.

Flying to Chicago today in 50 mph gusts, no flight delays cause departures are getting the tail winds.... arrivals are delayed half hour.
Nice to see the sunshine and have the true sounds of fall- bow hunters grunting for real when the tree branches come down on their heads.......
10 point is still seen, curious five point has been showing up at every tree stand- duh? no one is taking him for the chance of the ten point. Talk about a complex...

homemade log lifter/grapple/backhoe (THANKS CHAIKWA!!!!) is ready to go to work cutting up about 100 logs for firewood. We have 95 acres but all 'money trees'- black walnut, tulip, cucumber, locus, red maple, bird's eye maple, white oak, - you get the point, better to stand than burn.
Okay! who wants fresh fry cakes and crisp apple cider?????? coffee is for the bruised bow hunters coming in.......
