yesterday, crazy people and 43 phone calls up to 11PM.
today, took 4wd 92 wrangler down to town for inspection, drop off.
UPS cancelled deliveries; three counties have shut down all traffic at 1PM.
pretty bad when I can not get around with experience, new tires and manual shift with 4wd. heavy snowfall, up to 25 inches, 40 mph winds later. just about made it to town at 9AM...pines are heavy already, some will break by tomorrow fer sure! sugar trees and black walnuts could care less...
here's a pic:
yup, all white out. they don't even bother to plow, most towns are out of salt, despite having a salt mine 10 miles out. highest taxes in the nation
but every town had no more money for salt....
where's Shorts? I need an interior design specialist. not any scotts either!

The Alabama preacher approached his congregation one Sunday morning.
"Someone in this congregation has spread a rumor that I belong to the Ku Klux Klan.
"This is a horrible lie and one which a Christian community cannot tolerate. I am embarrassed and do not intend to accept this.
"Now, I want the person who started this vicious rumor to stand and ask forgiveness from God and this Christian family."
No one moved.
The preacher continued, "Do you have the nerve to face me and admit this is a false-hood? Now, remember you will be forgiven and in your heart you will feel glory. Now, stand and confess your transgression."
Again, all was quiet.
Then, slowly, a drop-dead gorgeous blonde with a body that would stop a runaway train rose from the third pew.
Her head was bowed and her voice quivered as she spoke, "Reverend, there has been a terrible misunderstanding. I never said you
were a member of the Ku Klux Klan. I just told one of my friends that you were a wizard under the sheets."
The preacher fell to his knees, his wife fainted, and the congregation roared!

Been there with chains on. Blocked the road so bad we had to use a large snow blower from the other side to help punch through.
Than it started raining.
Like Bob said. It must have warmed up enough for you to crawl out from under the sheets and get on the computer.

Wow. That's quite a picture. All I can see is grey and what may be a Bidet. Time to stay home.
The good news is that Spring starts in 8 more days. Better get your lawn mower out.

When I was little, I was told the 'Boogey man' wasn't the proper term. It was the 'Booger Man', and like the sand man who put those little pebbles in your eyes at night, the booger man put boogers in your nose. I reasoned that we dug those pieces of sand out of our eyes, why not the boogers?

very common phrase from the back woods where we use to live was: GOOD: slicker than dog snot... man that tractor ran slicker than ect..
you haven't lived until you fought a dead guy for his prints, urine and boogers...life as a MP in the South.
tough on the body day(barometric pressure) and laughed at the future me.
thought I would share a photo of our janitor's first look at his beloved husvarna saw:
