Morning all...
Just thought I would fire off prayers for the ones in Moore, OK... 14 years and a couple weeks, between an EF5 and at least an EF4. (may get upgraded)
Looks like the cell thats gonna hit us has grown to the extent its killed the tornado chance, but they are calling for 60+ straight line winds.

Yep... set the old alarm...
Well... Maybe more like playing 'get the F out of the MRAP because you're getting shot at and madhat is in the turret...' Funny how that extra 50 pounds of armor can make an arm explode when you hit the ground upside down... I mean... it was a picnic...
Man, you ain't right, and that's why we're friends to the end...

I assume he means acid etch, to clean the concrete up for this season. Sometimes you get some black algae that will tear a pool up...
Evenin, all. Beer, food, man land. Bout to go upstairs and... well, you know

And what? Watch the news?
What mood are you goin' for Bob?
Evening all. Horrible, horrible weather in OK. It's times like these that make me question things. As adults, we've all 'sinned' in one way or another, so in my mind, I can 'let it go' when some unfortunate soul loses their life to an incident like this. But the kids... I don't get it.
Sorry I wasn't around this morning. Had an early dentist appointment to get the crown put on the stupid tooth that had the 2 root canals. I was supposed to be there at 0730 but didn't wake up until 0715. Even Jake had to wait for his breakfast but he got some good treats from the dentist, so he was happy.
See ya in the mornin'!

Wow, got lots done today before the lightning hit underneath my fanny while I was sitting on the ground working on the sprinkler system. At least it felt like that - - man it was close. Light and sound hit simultaneously. Got a little more done after it let up - - - now the rain has settled back in and it is coming down. My poor lawn sure needs it. At least the system is ready to run again. Pool is empty and etching begins in the morning. Can't wait for this mess to be done - - looking good.

Moron!
Ooops, I meant, 'mornin'! Guess I was thinking of T-Rad!
Tuesday, May 21st.
1832 - In the U.S., the Democratic Party held its first national convention.
1856 - Lawrence, Kansas was captured by pro-slavery forces.
1863 - The siege of the Confederate Port Hudson, LA, began.
1881 - The American branch of the Red Cross was founded by Clara Barton.
1927 - Charles A. Lindberg completed the first solo nonstop airplane flight across the Atlantic Ocean. The trip began May 20.
1941 - The first U.S. ship, the SS Robin Moor, was sunk by a U-boat.
1956 - The U.S. exploded the first airborne hydrogen bomb in the Pacific Ocean over Bikini Atoll.
1961 - Governor Patterson declared martial law in Montgomery, AL.
1968 - The nuclear-powered U.S. submarine Scorpion, with 99 men aboard, was last heard from. The remains of the sub were later found on the ocean floor 400 miles southwest of the Azores.
1970 - The National Guard was mobilized to quell disturbances at Ohio State University.
1998 - An expelled student, Kipland Kinkel, in Springfield, OR, killed 2 people and wounded 25 others with a semi-automatic rifle. Police also discovered that the boy had killed his parents before the rampage.
1998 - In Miami, FL, five abortion clinics were hit by an butyric acid-attacker.
Thought for the day:
Let's just ski[p the thought and instead, everyone say a prayer for those in Moore OK. Thanks.
C0ffee and ph00 are on.

Hello fellow and fellowette DTRonians.
Prayers to all who are harmed by the storms. Really makes me sad to see this stuff.
Today I managed to get into the break room before Dependable Bobby and do up a real nice blend of Phoo Goo. He'll be etching more then just his pool with the fallout.

There is no G. There is no G. Repeat after me, THERE IS NO G!
Mad, you getting brittle already? Take your vitamins and drink your milk, k?
We had the storms roll through. They could have been worse, glad they weren't. A lot of rain, a lot of wind, a little hail, a little thunder and some really close hitting lightening...as in it boomed on the next block up the hill as I'm still seeing the flash Scared the bejeezus out of me and the dog spectating at the front door We danced around the front door like a buncha chickens, giggling. Well I was giggling, he was just tap dancing and hopping around in his excited way. Then he rolled around on the carpet.
Will be picking up my Inlaws in a half hour (unless there are more flight delays). They're in town for two weeks and staying with my bro in law. Dinner tonight with all of us should be good. Only thing missing is the guy I married that got me hooked up with this bunch. MIL already said she wants me to caption our vacation photos. Trouble is, I don't remember half the names of places we went! What can I say we had wine with lunch and dinner and beer in between for two weeks straight. I was lucky I could tie my shoes
