wow , are we the only ones that stayed home ?
well i finished up the tea, so I`m brewing a new batch , threw a cupple of Sage leaves in the sock with the tea, makes a nice change.

Going to call future soninlaw see if he can get tractor with tiller and bucket from work, clearing new area to put in new strawberry bed, (want to put up cold house over it after it is planted. Think by controleing temp i can get early crop + add 6 weeks to season . Have to be creative , 114 acres short of what we use to have + sold all farming tools . (should have kept some)
Well Have a nice day. Hey don wake up>
HA! HA!

Hmmm, goin retro with the name, either the active duty guys got lost with the name change or maybe stuck in a parade somewhere? Claude, i was wondering if you elevate your pinky when you drink your tea? Scott, haven't heard much about Jake lately. Mike still letting you play with him? kaley's been mosquito bait all weekend. Suckers are thick with the above average temps. Seeing quite a few fireflys already too. Usually don't really notice them til after June.

sorry but the Health Dept. has ruled that frosting and hypermold are not interchangable..... I tossed everything back in your closet/home.
(Still have the best moment stuck in my head of you having "Jake" whisper ruff ruff man that makes me laugh !)

I like the simple DTR thead, invites more folks to post, without being clueless as to those Navy/Girine acronyms......
Don; touching on Claude having to be proper with the pinky extended? aren't you the same guy who wants the urinal mints?????
what- REDLEG the sophisticated red neck ?!!! (I bet you have truck parts on your kitchen table ) sounds like you have what you need for your monster truck build; let me know if there was any other parts, I still have about 500 bucks owed to me by the salvage yard....and they don't have mercedes, heheheh (my 21 year old diesel!)

davey!! SO GLAD YOU HAD A GOOD TIME! sorry about the shut down..
THANK YOU for the post card, a real pick me up!!!

Diesel- hang in there! try everyday places to start- Advance auto parts or stuff that you see around.. if you are near Dayton, isn't there a chevy plant or something in Kentucky? luck only hits ya when you least expect it.

hey OLD DOG, that sage in tea, sounds like the stuff the different tribes around here make (Senecas, Mohawks, etc.) eesh, what a buzz- who thought tea could be that sneaky naturally! but it is tradition to take tea when giving something to them (we drop off home hardware items and smoke/heat alarms to the elderly). o hi o spri she qua (river of life)

ok, did a little spring cleaning here and now time to tackle the circuit breaker wiring on the harley....

might bake something for tonight.
hey CIN! gal, it is good to have you bop in here!!!

Heidi in the barn This is the second load already, we have a good supply for this winter, (yes, we cut it three feet long for the boiler) just wanted to stay ahead of the game. THANKS CHAIKWA (Scott M) for making the grapple/backhoe reliable (frame and swing)and built heavy but comes off the tractor in 2 minutes on any surface!!! more I use it, more I appreciate your work. not enough to stop picking on you, though....

Well the sage idea comes from my Grandmother, always hade sage in her herbgarden and had some cut and dried for tea. My family settled here in Mich in 1834 ,or earlier . So i carry on a fiew of the old ways.
as for drinking my tea, I drink it full fisted like most people drink coffee, I just happen to be allergic to coffee and tea is my only alternative. I drink sevelal mixtures , using ornge peko & black ,green , sage , dont get in to the lemon or berry stuff.

Well Chris came over with the tractor and we opened up two more areas for garden , boy that tiller on the tractor is sweet. When i get all my green houses and cold houses set up I should make more actual cash on this property than i did on 115 acres , no tool payments , no where the taxes , and I will have some control of the climate,(now that should be a win -win situation.

Don sounds like you made a trip to the river, my boy went fishing friday night (all night) your right suckers , no trout.

Don , when you come over and see all the gardens and green houses you wont question my farm plates, Dodge hauls stuff i need (furdliser and such , Ranger also dubbles as a tractor) In 4 wheel low you would be amazed at what i acomplish with that thing, (today it was pulling trees and stumps before Chris got here with the tractor) it is always a rolling tool shed, use to do the same with the dodge before i painted it ,(dont want to scratch it up now).
Claude tea & sage leaves in my right sock!!!!!!

Sorry Claude, I forgot if you raised the pinky, you may drop the cup. I may slide out this week. I get OCD though and right now I'm fixed on wrenching and torching. And I need to remember to finally get my flag pole finished finally. I haven't tied a fly or wet a line since our trip.
No Heidi, mostly "icetide" stuff all over the table... and other places. I'll think about what type of stuff I could use. I'd cover the cost of the debt they work off so you get your "due".

Jake's FINE! Michael and I took him to the vet Friday for his checkup & shots. Got him on the scale and he weighed 29.8 lbs, up from 23.5, 3 weeks earlier. Michael said "Too bad it isn't an even 30 lbs." Fed him 3 'cookies' and he went up to 29.9 lbs. 2 more and we hit an even 30! The whole place was in stitches! I swear he grows an inch everytime he streches tho. You won't recognize him when you see him again.

Claude, keep yer finger up!

C'mon you lazy slackers, get up and get moving! You think this is a holiday or somethin'?

Got some sun here finally. Might get something done after a Memorial service or two. Let's not forget those that have given the ultimate sacrifice, served or are currently serving. If it weren't for them we wouldn't have the lives we have today.

's on.
