Morning yall.
This morning is heavy. Last night was hard. Got the draft from my lawyer yesterday. My world stopped again, the reality staring me in face. I lost it all over again. After dinner we worked on editing the draft. The process was cold and heartless. Edits are going back to the lawyers today.
NE, I'm real sorry to hear about Huck. Take your time with him, tell him everything. I know where you're at. My heart aches for you and him.

Sorry to hear about Huck, I know how hard loosing a friend like that can be.
Heard the pup chewing on something last night but couldnt find anything that seemed amiss
This morning I find the handles missing off my go-bag
...... Stupid puppy..., at least she had the good sense to hide the shreds well back under the bed.....
Today's word is from Merriam-Websters list of the longest and most interesting words:
Machiavellianism
Definition:
the view that politics is amoral and that any means, however unscrupulous, can justifiably be used in achieving political power
Also used to describe evil or ill intent in a deed or action.
Example: both major political party's in the US have devolved into Machiavellian groups with no real concern for the overall good if the country
The challenge today is to use it in a post without getting banished to the Political Forum! Good luck!

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
Mornin'. Just got my confuser fired up now. As happens here occasionally, we lose power in half the house. One leg of the 220 vanishes. Had to find a plug with power and run an extension cord for the fridge and did the same for the computer and internet. Had 43 mm of rain last night, so that may have something to do with it.
NEF, hang in there. I know how rough this can be. Just no words to make it any better or easier.
Shorts, same for you. You are on a rough, rocky and strange road with many unexpected bends, but it will get better in time. Read day 25.
Bob, still envy your trip. Enjoy it.
Off to do something constructive. But first need another coffee.

Thanks JWBM, I needed that. Top, incoming! Stan, will do. Also tonight I'm going to head down to the place that the Hygienist mentioned (my unexpected interaction). Been looking through their website, seems like a good place to spend some time until I get out of here, which now looks like a couple more weeks
Bob, it's good to see you. Safe travels. How do yall get normal sleep if it's always light? Do yall have black out curtains or do you wear blinders at night?
Today I got dirty and rotated the tires. Figured grunting and sweating would be therapeutic. It was, except for the phone tag from DH (heh, you figure out the abbreviation now ) and my lawyer. Glad my lawyer could sense me at the end of my rope with everything, she talked down from completely losing it. Which is good because I had some big heavy tools in reach, something would have gotten pretty broken if it got hit by them.
So, no more vibration or pulling getting those gnarly rounded edged fronts off of there. Still going to need tires this fall. Stan, I remember your tires were rounding too. Keep rotating them until they are slicks, that's what I plan to do.
The HOA handyman saw me out there putting on the last wheel/tire. He and I chat since we bump into each other around the 'hood. I'm normally working
out and he's normally cruising in his golf cart. He pulls up and asks if I need help. I laugh and said "Oh sure, now that I'm on the last tire" LOL But I told him yes actually, that'd be great. Then he left me his number in case I have anything else I need help with, since he's the clubhouse handyman of course. Ah, people are great. Made my day better.
Oh, I got to use my new torque wrench too. Wooo!
FYI, a little 2.5T base auto hobby shop mechanics special floor jack does not like the 4500lb weight on the front axle And someone bent the lip of the front diff cover too

OK -- I ain't drinkin' that stuff you are calling ph00, Scott - - that's it. It is down the drink and I made fresh. ....................................... Now that is more like it. YEH.
Rain, cold, nasty out. In Wasilla. Maybe Sarah would take in a frozen Florida boy and let him sit by her fireplace. It is really cold here. Sure isn't Florida - - but then, neither is the scenery. YEH. Did manage to go shopping for groceries - - we were out after being in the bush country for so long. Even out of propane which means I couldn't recharge the batteries which means I better have some firewood and no rain - - which didn't happen, so had to charge from the truck for the night. Hey, we eat tonight - - yeh. Looking for new hiking boots. We were walking along a trail in Denali along the Savage River - - - we stopped to watch and take pics of some gorgeous sheep going up a ridge. Started walking and noted the whole sole of a walking shoe on the trail. I wisecracked and said "hey, someone just walked out of their shoes." The next step had me hit a sharp rock and suddenly I realized who it was that had no sole. The rest of the walk was very nice - - no cushioning except a thin leather piece on stoney and wet ground and puddles - - - and then the reality hit - - my foot is wet and it is 48 degrees out and we are two miles from the truck. Boy my foot hurt by the time I got back to the truck.
Got some great caribou pictures and some black bear pictures along with VERY close encounter with the moose and babies. Will have to post a few when we get home.
OK, enough gabbing - - - the blonde is calling for dinner. YEH.

Scott, not that bored that's just where I left off.
Heidi, no neck huh? I guess I'll have to start buying shirts with a 48" collar. lol
NE, like Lary said, treat it as a tragic accident. You have my prayers.
Shorts, warm thoughts, big hugs, and a compassionate ear. If you don't want a serious thought rearrange the words. :-)
Bob, safe travels and hoping you get spared the internet. lol

Morning all. Wow Lary, you outdid all of us with that spread this morning. What happened? Why? The boss trying to show the janitor the right way to do things in the breakroom? Not complaining, so am tucking in before the rest of the mob get here. And the lazy janitor.
Having truck withdrawal symptoms. Never been without my truck for so long. Still expect to get it back on Saturday. Then the heavy work starts. Have to install new bushings in the rear springs and reinstall all 4 Carli specially modified shocks. Carli are installing different pistons and re-valving them.
Hmmmm, think I will go back for another cup of coffee. Thanks.

Morning yall.
Great breakfast, thanks Top.
Bob, that's too bad about the 'flat tire' you had out hiking. Your poor little freezing piggies..
Stan, be strong! Also, how do you plan to tackle the bushings? You going to press them out or going to drill the bushings and tear them out of there? What kind of bushings are you going to install?
JWBM, it'll go back together good. Just keep sweet talking it on reassembly
Trad, thanks for the warm ears
Chris, sounds like Elsie doesn't like housework, or handles on bags You'll have to start tossing her femur bones to redirect her need to chew. Make it a big ol' baseball bat sized thing so it doesn't run out lol
Chester was the blithesome figure in the house. I look forward to when I can have that pleasant, carefree joy to share again. I got a warm fuzzy the other night. I finished up reading the book 'Heaven is For Real'. In there the boy said that he saw animals in Heaven, including dogs. I sobbed like baby. After knowing Chester, it makes perfect sense to me. Almost 3mths to the day. I miss you Pup Pup.

BUUUURPPP! Sorry. Blame Lary for that. Not often I eat so much so early.
JWBM, kudos to you for all the work you manage to stuff into one day.
Shorts, not going to start the bushings until you arrive to help me. I have an idea to change them without actually removing the spring assembly, but if that does not work, will do the grunt work and take everything out and change the bushings on the bench. These are Carli 2.0 springs and bushings, so will install new Carli bushings. Carli have told me that I can remove the old and install the new bushings using a hammer, socket and a flat head screwdriver.
Chris, that video made me smile. Thanks.
