Schedule and details for this weekend.
Afternoon, NC #18...
All the info seems to be a little scattered about, so I'm putting this together. It's for me, too... I like structure and all...
Here's what I see so far:
10 Oct
Pre-event at Hooters, 463 Western Blvd. in Jacksonville, N.C. John P will be there at 4:30 to get a table, we need to start showing up at 5 or so.
The race is going at the "Coastal Plains Dragway", 4744 Highway 258, Jacksonville, N.C. from 8:00 P.M.-1:00 A.M.
So far, the weather channel puts Friday night at a 40% chance of rain, with a high of 78* low of 60*.
The questions:
What time do the gates open?
Usually they open the gates around 730pm
How much is racer fees, and spectator fees?
Racers pay 15, everyone else 10 (unless john worked out something else...)
Do we have a schedule on what class is going it what order?
Someone mentioned trying to set up an area for the DTR members so we'd all be together... ??
Nate is bringing a 10x10 canopy that will "BASE" our operations. I will try to get engineer tape to cordon off an area of operations.
Then, Saturday, the 11th, we are going to "Waynes Dyno and Performance" also located on Highway 258, at 3789 Richlands Hwy, Jacksonville, N.C. We will start showing up a little before 9, the event starts at 9. Remember, no alcohol, no 'F' word, and no stacks in the shop. You can make minor adjustments, but nothing major while you're on the rollers.
Weather channel: 30% chance of rain, high 80*, Low 59*.
Questions:
What is the fee for X pulls?
$45.00 for two pulls
$65.00 for four pulls
Are we going to cook? Who's bringing what?
We will be getting some pizzas from a local pizzeria (Michaelangelos) and will be "passing the hat" for that on Saturday morning.

Help me out with more details, I just got this info from other posts...
John, remember, last year when we tried to put Lary's hemi on the rollers, it scared it to death, and the dyno took a poo, right before Lloyd put his truck up... Make sure that we keep Mrs. Ellis's Aspen away from the building!
Ok, let me have it...

Mark, you asked about food at "Waynes" on Saturday. We will be getting some pizzas from a local pizzeria (Michaelangelos) and will be "passing the hat" for that on Saturday morning.
TRAILER ISSUES- I will be towing my 24' flatbed trailer out to CPD on Friday night JUST IN CASE. Also, Brian Buchanan will have a trailer.
We will keep an eye on the weather but let's NOT be talking about rain! That has hurt us in past years.

The schedule of classes has been posted by Mike D. in another thread Mark.
That is too long to re-write here again. We will try to have an area where we can park our trucks together, but that will depend on how many vehicles are there.
I think that is all of the questions.
