Diesel shop in greater Wilmington area??

I am looking for a shop in the Wilmington NC area to check/adjust my timing and possibly adjust the valves on my 97 CTD. Does anyone know of a reputable shop to do these tasks without charging a fortune? The main priority though is that they are competent with the Cummins though.

Thanks, Tim

I know someone close to the Cary area but not Wilmington. Phil McMaster is in Fuquay Varina, goes by McMopar on this site.

Yeah, I have talked with Phil a few times about a year ago. Seemed like a really good guy, however the problem was with my busy school, work, etc schedule we couldn't seem to ever get together at the same time.

Thought I might post here to see if anyone from the coastal area knew of a place.

Thanks, Tim

Well, If you're willing to make the drive to Jville, I have the tools to do both. Up to you.

Tim:

In addition to Bryan (marine4life) there is a Dodge dealership in Wilmington by the name of "D&E Dodge" on Market Street. A good friend of mine works there by the name of Tom Sessions and he is a factory trained Dodge Cummins Technician and does some of the work on our trucks. You can give him a call if you want @ (910) 228-8477. If he doesn't answer, leave him a message and he will call you back.
