Campers!, When you get on my property you will be facing an open "L" shaped open field/ dirt track for atv's. Go to the right up past the target area and continue around to the far side. Pick a nice comfortble spot and set up. I am going to ask for friday off so I can be there in the morning.
The county still has not replaced the road sign for Calvary Road. I will put up my own Friday.
Calvary Road is a tractor path. That is the best that I can discribe it. Follow the signs and you will be Ok. My land is about a mile or more down that path. As matter of fact, the road ends on it. There is a fenced in yard to the left of the field. My son and his family live there.
When you come up Calvary Road turn right just before the first fence opening. That is my neighbor's. Go to the next gate and the road turns left. You will pass a vacant house trailer on your left and in a few hundred yards you will cross a shallow stream. ( It's Piped) That is my property line.

Campers, Weather
Campers! Check the weather report for Zip Code 23883. Friday sounds like it may be ruff for a tent. T storms. However Saturday/Sunday looks good, as of 0830 Thursday. This area is hard to predict with any accuracy.

This is great!
I thought we just did stuff like that down here in TX... we save our outdated IT, useless vehicle parts and discarded children's toys out at the ranch so we can blast them periodically.
Glad to know y'all are kindred spirits!!!

Some Of The Carnage,,,,,
It's always fun to blow holes in stuff!
Thanks to Boatnik for having us,,,, and Ed for giving me a ride so that I don't have to wash the mud off my truck like he will have to do to his.
BTW,,, we gave Boatnik 4 cracks at the TV with the cannon and he came as close as you can get without hitting the picture tube,,,,, needless to say,,,, Joel couldn't stand it any longer and took it out with a long gun. One shot = Dead TV.
Nice meeting Mike from WV. Some folks will drive a long way to shoot stuff up!

First, big thank you to Boatnik for having us and giving me a ride in your truck. Today was a lot of fun and meeting you guys was cool, hope to due it again sometime. Having a chance to blow things to buts was worth the drive alone. I did find one thing out today... if I drive the speed limit (65mph for the most part) I got 23.777679 MPG I drove 480.8 miles and filled up with 20.187 Gallons on the same pump (@$2.52 in the morning and $2.57 at night ) I think I'm going to have to slow down
Hope to see you guys again, I will try to post the pics I took later on.
Michael

Thank you for inviting us into your peanut field.
(Ya otta make DD4X4 rake out all his Power-Sliding ruts. )

I had a ball, even tho Dennis threatend to revoke my Artillieryman's license . I'm use to being in the woods so I got a chuckle when Ed told us that when he started hearing Duelling Banjos he was turning around. "The Farm" is a little bit off the beaten path for sure. About a mile and a half from a state road.
Mike, glad you had fun and got home safe. That is a long run when your tired.
Rick could use a GPS for navigating but I am not sure that I'm on it.
Joel, I'll send you a bill!
Thanks again for stopping by and shooting. It was a BLAST!
And don't ask about burning lawn mowers.
