My son and I just installed a new target stand just for this event. Not really just for this event, but it sounds good. The stand is in front of about 18 tons of fill sand and comprises of two eight foot long 6x6's holding up three twelve foot long 2x8's and a shelf for the "empties". I tested it yesterday by putting three .243 Win rounds into the target at 180 yards that you can cover with a silver dollar. That as the first three rounds and the best three. After the barrel heated up I couldn't hit my hips with both hands in my back pockets.

Serious shooters! If you have a sturdy shooting bench, bring it if it isn't too much trouble. Mine works OK but needs a little improvement. It wiggles easy. OR, we can sit down behind Joels flat bed which should be good and solid. The max range would be about 200 paces, but for the appliance shooting we will be a lot closer. I don't want to discriminate against pistol packers.

Don't forget that old TV or coffee pot!

Well I am south of Richmond, ain't I? Oh well. Turn like you are trying to get to Norfolk but turn in Wakefield at the light. Follow 31 for a block or so and go straight down 617 (White Marsh Rd.). When you cross Wall's Bridge hang a left on 618 (Sexton Rd.). Go to the first mail box and turn right. There will be some signs.
WARNING!!! Vandals have stolen some road signs. I will try to put up some temporary signs Thursday evening after work if the county doesn't replace them by then.

Boatnik, First I want to say Thanks for having this

What time do you guys usually start? I'm looking at a 4hr ride and just want to plan. Is there anything that you would like me to bring?

Thanks,
Michael

So do TV sets, No worries. There will be a large disposable tarp under the pile to catch the fine stuff. I also have a right good size drychem fire bottle to put out any pesky little fires.
