Jess,

The Rock did a great job last year and the track manager was more than willing to do it again. Unfortunately, we didn't have the local turn-out due to the rain... but did'nt we have a great track to ourselves?

The DHRA fee from what I know (And I am no longer a Director) is to be able to guarantee a purse and so on. I do agree with you though, there is a lot of racers in the Carolina's and Georgia that could benefit from some good races in their area.

You could always put the purse up yourself... since you are so good at winning it back.

When are you looking at putting this on?? Aug., Sept., Oct. or Nov.??
The sooner we (you) can start talking to the track the better. I am thinking pick a date and go for it. Jess I don't know when you will have a break farming to come on over and have alittle fun.
I enjoyed last Dec and I am looking forward to this event. We should be able to bring the new N.C. chapter trucks into the mix as well.
I am just throwing out an idea, trying to keep the ball rolling.
See Ya
Chris
Now I have to start making plans for twins under the hood and a new set of injectors and a new clutch(so I don't have to shift but once or twice and a new one of these and also one of those. Maybe I will mount tractor tires under the back and have the first cummins powered wheelie truck
Ok Ok I just drank some more water I'm ok now. It's nice and sunny outside the tent and only about 100 degrees today.

Chris,
If you put the tractor tires on, I will install a hydraulic system on my truck so I can run down the track on three wheels.

About the DHRA setup, I am happy with something small and local. If we get the planning set up early, it will give us more of a chance to talk people into coming out and possibly participating. Just today I had seen 3 CTD on the air station that I haven't seen before.
