Spring Dyno Sacramento

There is a Dyno Day on April 16 at Ken Imler's shop 2445 Harvard Street Sacramento, Ca. I think the web site is http://www.imlerdiesel.com and I believe there is a discounted price if you pre-register for the event. There is also a drag race after the Dyno at the Sacramento Drag Strip 5305 Excelsior Road also in Sacramento. I believe the Drags start at 6 PM. So if you want to have some fun come on down.

$50 to the hightest hp huh. Well I am going to be there. I dont think I will get high hp, but I wont be that far from the top. Just got a new injection pump on. It runs real good. I hope to see 600hp+ with the water/meth on. I also heard that there is a real strong Duramax over there. I heard that he hit over 600hp not that long ago. We all should see some good numbers.

Its only 4 days away. I cant wait.

Hey Stomp, There is a strong Duramax. He was in the 600's. Luckily there was a Dodge to knock him off the top spot. I'm sure he'll be back with more this time. Can't wait for Saturday, I still need to put my fuel pres. gauge in, my Bog Hoss module, and hopefully I can get my wastegate adjusted, to lower my boost some. See ya there!

well I got headquarters ( Cummins West ) to give a gift certificate of a 100 dollars toward the highest horsepower Dodge on Sat at the dyno run. I figured a Dodge will win and heck a Durasmack or Stroker cant use it anyways unless they tow they're trucks with a Dodge Cummins

I had a great time running my truck and watching all the dyno pulls. The drags were a bit of a letdown, I thought it was going to me more for Diesels, but it was an open event. It was fun to watch the guys who did run. All in all a great day. See you in Oct.

They had quite a day there at Imlers , they actually had to turn away some guys that wanted to dyno at the end of the day, they got in 32 dyno's out of that 32, I counted only 6 Fords and 1 duramax , I did miss about 2 hours when it was such a nice day out and I had to take the truck home and get the bike out. I did go out to the drag races that night, LOL first time down the track since 1981, ran my truck with full fuel and a buddy in the pass. seat and got a 15.22 et with airaid intake ,homemade exhaust and bully dog on performance level, I was launching at about 10 to 15 psi of boost. tranny held up ok for now.

well it was one Chev and one GMC. if i remember correct-ish, they were 450 and 470 hp.
GREAT DAY! great weather, great event, great 5" tip in the raffle... what more could you ask for, besides another couple hundred HP? couldn't hang around for the drags, other plans in the afternoon.
my hp stayed within 1 at 433, but my torque jumped 31 to 1006lbs! only changes were the MadECM and aeroquip fuel lines.

BTW, what were the classes? (yeah, i was there, but see anything posted and i left before it was totally done)

Well here are my numbers. It's the first dyno for me, I am a little dissapointed with the HP. The Banks computer de-fuels and it showed. My turbo is pretty much maxed out as I was hitting 1400 deg. So now I know what the truck can do and what needs to change. I'm looking at a bigger/better turbo and most likely a Drag Comp box. I want to hit 1000 ftlbs.

330hp/782 ftlbs........ see pics
