No, this is not a typo, Scheid and crew are coming to the ATS sponsored, High Desert Diesel Roundup, Sept! 24, 25. The west coast is finally going to get a chance to see Scheid Diesel power in person. I would give more info about Scheid, but I don't think an introduction is needed. You've seen video of Kent Crowder and "The Truck" in pictures and video, now you get to see it live right here in Southern California @ LACR. If all goes as planned, Eric McBride and the Scheid Diesel dragster will also be out to make some passes down the 1/4 mile! I can't think of a better way to cap off the 2005 season! I don't know about the rest of you, but I am pumped, lets get get it on! The LACR/DHRA drag series is going down to the wire with about 5 guys fighting for the points title. Between this, the pulls, the Big Rigs, the vendors. . .

I know I'm going. I had heard about scheid a few weeks ago, but hadn't heard it confirmed yet. I have a couple friends that are pulling as well that weekend.

 

What a treat!! We will probably get the AQMD out here from all the smoke. I hear the rail is quite the sight also. Down into the 7 sec area. Can't WAIT!!!!

I think we are going to leave from Ventura around 8 or 9 am. Would be cool to have a CTD caravan.

Hey dusty, I know a lot of CTD's coming from Ventura, but I think they are all going up tonite. Most of them are pulling on Saturday. I'm going up Sat after I drop my daughter off.

 

I would probably camp there Sat night if we had a travel trailer. Most of the action is Saturday anyway.

 

7 am drag time trials, exibitions. 4 pm sled pulls.

 

I thought Scheid was supposed to be at the ATPA event in Deleware, OH tomorrow.... oh well.... I guess not...
