Next spring is Northwood, ND. Convenient for me, but most have to drive a few miles. (About as far as it is for me to hit the Twin Cities events.)

I think the Bismarck guys are planning something for next year, too.

Well, there is always next fall. It will be at a new facility, too. HiTech is moving.

I saw something about a charity dyno next spring. How is that moving along?

Can't wait till the next event, I will be all healed up from my surgery then. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone in the surrounding area.

How far is Northwood, ND from the Twin Cities area?

About 340 miles depending on where you live in the 7 county area.
West I-94 to Fargo
North I-29 to Thompson
West ND-15 to Northwood
Stay on ND-15 and Mike's is the last place on your left.

I like my directions better. Go west 22 miles, north 1 mile, west 24 miles.

It was a GREAT Turn out! 4 years ago if you would have told me that there was this much interest in this area I would have laughed at you.

The only "bad" part of the day was after the GTO Dyno'ed. He pulled out in the nice long parking lot and got the tires nice and sticky. When he hit 3rd gear he decided to let out of the brakes....and forgot his zeus clips that hold the hood down were not fastened! The hood came up in a VERY quick fashion....broke the windshield, cracked the fiberglass hood and put a small dent in the roof. The owner, Kevin's repsonse: "It sux, but oh well! The engine is getting moved 10 inches back over the winter. So I'm going to be cutting the firewall anyway. It'll just be a little more paint work."

Not really. Honestly there isn't much to see. The shop we go to has an excellent exhaust system, so there is no smoke inside the building.
