Is this where I post to see if there is enough support for one?

Anyways. I would like a IL chapter started but I will be busy at work until January as I join a apprenticeship program for line mechanics , So I cannot be pres. but I want to join one. I can help out with some planning as right south of me is a 4H/County Fair Grounds that is empty 90% of the year. The only time it is always scheduled is the last full weekend in July for the fair and truck pulls. So we have a place the GTG. IN is too far. I see alot of IL'ians and heard some people want to get a chapter started but nobody has time or wants to step up to the plate. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I am interested in the same thing. I hav spoke to a few people about it around here and the area and they seem interested. I haven't enough time to be in the lead. Anyone else here in for it?

Man, I would like to see one, but I am in the same boat, between running kids around, work, and being Cub Scout leader, there just isnt too much time left to do a respectable job of president.

There is a new chapter in Henderson KY that is having a meeting on May 19. Check KY41 post haloman is pres. Let him know if you are comming as he is making reservations.
