Everyboby says that the I-6 is the torque monster, the Chevy has the highest torque and was down on HP? Can anyone explain this?

On my machine it wasn't highest Torque. I don't know about the Mustang, but on my dyno, Kyle was using NOS.

djp:

I helped the Scheid Crew on their Mustang Dyno on both
days of the rally. I agree 100% with what David has already
posted about the dynos. We were seeing tire slippage on
the Mustang with the high H.P. trucks and as David pointed
out the two dynos (Mustang and Dynojet) measure the
horespower differently. With Davids help (thanks David )
we ran that new Ford Diesel Excursion with the 6.0
Navistar Powerstroke Engine and the H.P. was very
close on the Mustang and Dynojet.

You also asked about stock "600" Dodge CTD trucks.
They are usually around 240-245 H.P. and 510-525
torque. Some are higher though. The older 03'-04'
305/555 engines make around 230-240 H.P. and
435-440 Torque.

Hope this has helped some.
