pretty good show (once the wind died down and wasn't so frozen, lol)
The Cummins' were right on schedule in the diesel pickup class, 1st, 2nd 3rd and 4th place. Nearly 20 trucks in all, prolly about 50/50 Dodge/Ford and one '06 Chevy dually.
The next event like this will be June 10th, the schedule says "diesel pickup drag-racing", but their insurance carrier didn't agree so they had to scatch that idea. Instead, it'll just be regular sled-pulling like this past event. They are starting a new class and it is one for the "pro-mod" trucks. This allows front weights, more than a single charger and drugs (i think). The current street diesel class dosen't allow any of this and must be a "stockish" turbo.
Then the following Saturday, the 17th will be another good event. It'll have semi-trucks (including tri-axle dumps) sled pulling and side by side drag racing. This event will also include the pickups sled pulling. This event is titled "Diesel day at the Buck!".
