Anyone if Florida

I'm way out in left field in Panama City Beach. New Orleans is closer than Orlando. Anything beyond I-4 is about as far as I can run and still do something that day.

mopar at Big Daddy's I nelieve is in November. The first weekend. I plan on being there, so that could be a meeting point for now to see how things get started. Sound good, I'll look for more info on the show. It was the old exit 67 off of I-275, can't remember the new exit number.

I live in Tampa and have recently purchased a 98 24v and was also wondering if there are any GTGs around the state of FL that I could attend in order to find all the tricks and upgrades for performance inhancements.

Ocala has many people (me being one of them) that has and bombs diesels. Lots and lots of work trucks and lots of retirees with 5th wheel travel trailers. Plus on top of that I get a lot of conversation at the wal-mart fuel pump about Dodge trucks, so much I actually made up a business card from vistaprint.com with the DTR website info and my user name on it. Cards were free +shipping. I figured some good advertising for this website couldn't hurt and it was free to do. I've handed out 20+ cards since I had them made about 5 months ago. I would very much like to be more involved with a local chapter. Ocala is a centralized area of FL though a little north but the local Cummins garage dyno's for free, and isn't far from I 75 (easy traveling directions).

We should start a chapter up. Not good at organizing things. I would be in FL till around Octoberish. I'm definately interested in this. Looing like the Tampa bay area, ocala might be a good common ground for gatherings. Anyone else?

Either Tampa or Ocala is fine with me, I am just about in the middle of the two. I don't know what you guys think, but I have an idea. Southeast Power is the local Cummins dealer, and they have sponsored a get-together before. I could talk with them and see if they want to do it again, for our first meeting. Last time they had pizza and sodas, and gave us a tour of their shops. They have the equipment to rebuild the VP44's, and went over some of that with the last group.

OK, I talked with the Manager at the Orlando Southeast Power, and he seemed to be pretty interested in diong a GTG. I gave him the link to this post so he could see the interest. One thing that would be nice is if we could get some kind of a poll going, as far as when would be a good time for everyone (late May, early or late June ect.).
