I don't know about a chapter for GA, but events happen.

Feb. 25th will be a 1/8th mile Outlaw Pro Street (Think DHRA Pro Street without weight and power adder rules) and bracket.

Pay out is BIG!!! $5k total for Pro and $5k total for bracket. Plays eight spots both classes.

I will have the dyno there and everyone will compete for $500 for top #2 HP.

More info here. www.us19dragway.com

We are also having a Farm Truck Racing League (FTRL) and this will be heads up racing with single turbo, no power adders. So far have about 8 racers signed up. These races will be held mostly at Silver Dollar Raceway in Reynolds GA. I don't have race dates yet, but our first show up at the track is scheduled for Jan 28th for test and tune.

If you want more info, let me know.

Well i'm neither a skimmer or a bubble head....... True dirt sailor....... When we deploy we get on a plane and land some where and stay for 6 or 7 months and work construction, drink beer, whistle at girls, cuss, etc, etc.

It's like a union hall that packs up and moves every so often.

I don't know who's Dodge that was. It was loud though. It had to be a home made job becuase the passenger side stuck out about 3 inches farther than the drivers side. Guess he had a tuff time with the tape measure, LOL

Is there a chapter in North Florida?

It may be a little far, but our chapter is having a mee-n-greet in Decatur, AL on the 5th of Aug. We have the only chapter in the region as of now, and still very small. Last meet was best with 8rigs showing up (one from Texas, another from Louisianna). Just go to the MSDTR #31 threads here to find out more or PM me. Glad to have you if possible.

I posted the Atlanta race which is September 8-9. Maybe this would be a good time to "invite" others interested in a chapter to attend.
