I'm heading down to the coast for a week, leaving around the 17/18th of this month and back on the 25th.
I will be hitting PDR sometime during that week. If anyone needs anything picked up, I'll haul it back for you. Make the arrangements with PDR so all I have to do is load it and go.

Would you mind finding out what an O-ring job would cost? Wouldn't mind making a run out there if the price isn't too steep.

Hey Tate
All of PDR's pricing is right on their site. O-ring runs about $420. I think you would be better off giving them a call and see what's all involved. I know it's going to be more than a couple of day job.
If I'm going to "borrow" a set of twins, they won't be going on your truck

Kinda stupid question here. Will this discussed meet be in Red Deer @ Razor67 shop? The date seems to be nailed down. What will be going on? Just kinda a get together to do a little bs'ing and a few hairy plumbers cracks showing from being head down butt up under the hoods of our trucks? Might have to count me in on this one. But I have said that before........

How about meeting on Sunday July 9th? I don't think we have held a gathering on a Sunday before so I'm just throwing this out there. Please chime-in if Sunday does not work. I'm hoping the new FE hooks up by then...
John, good to hear you are still alive! It would be great to catch up if you can make it out of B(ring)C(ash).
Jeff, have you warned your newby diesel friend of the potential hazards of catching the BOMBing bug?
Ray, I'm sorry to hear that the B(ad)D(eamon) parts are still haunting you. Are you making any progress?
Anyway, it looks like the warm weather may bring the masses out.

Sunday actually works better for me than Saturday for any meet that we have. Consider me in for sure.
Yeah Mark, he is aware of the potential dangers and is looking forward to getting into it. I honestly don't really know enough about the under valver's to help him but I know you and a few others have some ideas

I do have that weekend off....... so either day will be ok. Now just have to figure out which truck to take. The 98 is being a little tempermental right now and has not been insured for almost 2 years, but holy crap it is fun to drive out on these back country roads I live on! I just got the Hot program back from edge one my juice with attitude yesterday that I have not put in yet. Had the original juice/attitude in for about a year before it started acting up. That is when I said what the heck, and had the hot program installed for free with my TDR membership.
Or maybe if I bring the 98 I can do the water meth system I got for christmas 2 years ago. HMMMMMMM

I guess the big determination is when it is most convienent for Ray if he is offering up his shop again.
How about it Ray, what works for you? Hope you aren't having a really bad time with the truck

So let's all agree on the 8th. We can meet in Red Deer as usual.
If Razor sticks his nose in here and offers up his place, we have a spot. If not, a restaurant/bar/watering hole parking lot will do just fine.
The wagon trains up there can start building. I know a bunch of guys meet at the Airdrie Timmy's and head up. Others meet in Bowden. Etown boys I'm not sure where it starts.
I'll be pulling out of Cochrane and heading to Olds then meet up at Bowden.
It has begun!!

Alright... July 8 sounds good. I may have a couple trucks from around here as well. Should be fun.. I will try to get in touch with Ray on the phone about the meet.
