Alberta Boys

I know it takes forever for us to decide on a date, let alone actually meet in one place.

Why not start now?

Anyone want to toss some dates out to get a meet going?

I have been talking with PKennedy about some camping dates out in the Rockys by his place but no dates have come to mind just yet.

Also on the DieselRam page they were discussing a water/camping event out at Buffalo Lake (North of Erskine, North-West of Stettler).

I am going to be busy for the next 6-8 weeks with some personal/business stuff so I will not be attending in that timeframe..

I forgot about this until just a few minutes ago.

Big Dog Performance is "maybe" having an open house on the 22nd of this month.

For those that are not aware, Big Dog is where Ian Boyle has set up shop.

I talked to Scotty a few days ago and he may possibly be coming out for this little do. I just have to find out if Big Dog is going to have it.

Anyone know if they are?

Jeff

And a big D'OH for me on that one too. I had a message from Scotty about this event at Big Dog and forgot about it. There was some other special events in the works around that opening etc.

Talking

I finally ante'd up for an SBC. Gotta little mix up on the order early on, but I think it will work for my future plans. Got the 13" CON FE with the new machined flywheel with roller pilot bearing. The new prices from SBC make it more affordable for sure. Now to see how much mud I actually have under there..

Jeff I am here this weekend if you need a valve set. While we are motivated to do clutches we could get real busy and change my leaky front crank seal too!!!!!! PK

Hey Pat

It's tempting but this weekend I am resealing the transfer case, changing out tranny oil, front and rear brakes, rear hub seals and re-doing the park brakes, serpentine belt, oil and fuel filter and if time permits, adjusting exhaust brake, re-doing the guage pod on the dash and running some wiring for modifications to the cargo trailer.

Not sure if I can squeeze in a valve adjust. It's not a huge priority but I'm knocking on a 100,000 and have a couple of "tickers".

We should have a "bomb" weekend somewhere and get a bunch of peoples stuff done.

I've got my winch bumper in the pieces care of Mr torch in the process of refabbing it with frenched lights and making it look a little better, I know now why I never pursued welding, my back is killing me and I only spend a hour or so after work doing it. I already have a full FASS to put in my dads truck with a clutch before summer hits also I have been informed. Looks like we are all doing our duty to keep the vendors kids tutions all paid on time .

Lil' dog fe eh, must have BIG plans

I am in for a wrench pulling weekend..... if I can get a weekend off stupid golf season
