They're doing well, haven't seen the little one in a month now. We're all working 70+ hours a week trying to get this unit back on line. I hate the hours.
Come one down to the roundup, it will be a good time for all.

Hello All

We are planning on coming up for the event, with the camper in tow. My social director will be with me this year to keep me in check.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

See Ya

Only four weeks away folks. Anyone got a list of what they would like to do yet?

Looks like the dyno is not going to be an option this year. Still trying to round up some goodies to raffle off. May have to have some shoulder surgery done soon, hope not, but still looking to have a good time even getting together and hanging ouit if nothing else.

Gotta go to the price club and look up some slabs-o-cow for Friday nght too. Guess Top is bringing the brats. Trying to round up a few guns to raffle off too if I can pull that off. That seemed to go over well the last few years.

Coming up soon, lets get out thoughts together and make it happen.

I'll be there for Saturday as usual. Man! I sure wanted to see how much power this thing makes with the quad race box on it!
I can bring some BBQ or I can bring the big grill and make some wings. Whatever you guys prefer....

I can bring Plates, Napkins, and Plasticware.
Let me know what else we need.

I can probably bring a couple of coolers full of ice too.

IBC will be in tow again

DANG DANG DANG!!!!!!!!! Tim won't be at this one. The one time when I could take high HP and we won't have a dyno?

We gonna have a range to shoot at? We might could shoot at my house if we do it on a Saturday, and don't try to see how fast we can pull the trigger every time.

Looks like I'm leaning towards postponing this one for a while. More and more people can't make it and the dyno is not looking real good. My son and his wife are on the chopping block at work and I'm having some shoulder problems. I haven't really given this one the time or the financial support I have in the past because of all of this and don't want to have one and have it be a flop. I want to make sure the CVFD people get enough to make it worth their while for using the fine facility and I'm not sure the participation will be there this year. Unless a whole lot of people can convince me different, I am going to put this one on hold for a while until I get some things straight around the house here. Maybe a smaller style meet and eat would be appropriate for the time being.

Sorry Rick. I do realize that's one of the most fun parts. I am hoping that we can get the Waverly range set up soon as that location has far fewer neighbors to complain. I still think we could do it here again, on a Saturday. I did have an officer of the law (another jurisdiction) tell me that I would have won if I'd been cited and went to court on the last one. I don't really know though, and am not ready to find out.
Perhaps I just need to distribute ear plugs to all my neighbors. I'm right there and with ear plugs, it doesn't bother me at all.

I don't think it was the noise, as much as the kids couldn't ride their dirt bikes on on the power lines that caused them to call the "fuzz".
One excuse is as good as another.
The responding deputy at least was cool about the whole thing as he knew the neighbor was just bein' a pain.

Let me know for sure if we're not doing it on the 25th 'cuz I got the Mini-Camper reserved for that weekend, and me & Wifey can make other plans.

Don't get too used to that idea Chris!

If and when Joel does have this event, and if a dyno is available I think my son and I will plan to attend just so we can give you some "competition" on the dyno! I have my 96' back right now and Johnner has done a few more "mods" to his 2004!

John, How does Johner like his new sticks? Dads truck is way up in power now and we want to test it soon. I will check with Abacus racing about their portable dyno but I heard they transported it to a shop unit. John I am glad you got your 96 back I am looking forward to competeing with you on the dyno and track this year. I also believe Merv(Huff & Puff) will be coming which will give both of us competetion. Tim

Dang again! I just can't catch a break. If you guys show up I just won't even bother.
Oh well, maybe I'll just surprise everyone and show up with Mach 8's and a Edge Comp stacked with a PM3 Comp.
(no drugs for me)

Tim:

Thanks for the reply!

Those new "sticks" from Don feel real good! We got them in the truck late last night and just
took an "easy" ride. Johnner has to do some "tuning" per Don's instructions to "protect his
investment", but we will know more later today and then Johnner will give you a complete
report on them. IMO, the truck spools faster off the bottom, and is alot "snappier" as he accelerates. Glad to hear your Dad's truck has more power! Looking forward to the summmer and the upcoming rallies. Your right, "Huff-n-Puff" will give us some "competition"
alright! He will probably beat us both! You going to Indy Tim??

Mach 8's AND a TST "stacked" with an Edge Comp?????????????? WOW!
