Did you have problems getting your springs ordered? I have called twice one yesterday and once last friday and the lady said the guy was on the other line and would need to call me back, but I have still not heard from them

Not really trouble, when i called the first time she said the head engineer is very busy and so it is quicker to email the form on there website and he will get back to you. He emailed me back the next day and we talked on the phone once after that i think.

Not that much, was $1363USD. Shipping on heavy items really screws us up here, i sure hope they are all cracked up to be too!

And i ordered mine without bushings so i saved a few bucks.

I also asked for really soft (within reason) in the back because i will run air bags, that may have added to the cost?

Ordered a dual disc organic valair clutch, removed the stock I/C and turbo. I will be installing the HE351CW and PS I/C then move onto the leaf springs/shocks/air bags when they arrive and finish the draglink. After that will be the clutch and gear vendors unit.

Will also sneak in the 3200rpm spring, denny T pin, KDP and timing cover bolts.

Sometime down the road i will get to the interior sound deadening, stereo, high idle cable, and pull stop cable.

Then............................... hopefully i am done for a few years

Organic clutch material VS ceramic or Kevlar.

Organic is smoother engagement, like stock.

Springs are here! Pics tomorrow.

Think i have the PS IC mounts figured out.

Anyone run a HE351CW in stock form, not clocked? The oil ports are on an angle and not sure if that will cause problems. I really had wanted to keep the wastegate functional but clocking does make the IC piping easier.

You are probably going to want to clock that. IIRC the max angle is like 15*. You can pull the little pins and rotate just the center to get good drainage. You could turn the housings, too. Just turn them equally and the WG should work fine. I have not personally put one of these on a 1st Gen, but I am seriously starting to want one.

Agreed!

Although, unless you have more than 375 hp worth of fueling, I'm not convinced of the need for this turbo to be wastegated on the 1st gens??? I drilled the wastegate out to 1 1/16" on mine, clocked it, re-welded the tab on the compressor housing, and installed a manual boost elbow. With the M2 pin, pump maxed, M&H spacer, etc, I'm only bumping 29 psi boost, so the wastegate (set at 35ish) never comes into play anyway.
