Finished up the turbo and IC piping install, mounted the GV and in the middle of doing the KDP.
You can also see how tight the speedo take-off is for the GV on a single cab, there is a 90 degree adapter that goes on, it rests against the tank so i need to find some hose for abrasion resistance.

Hey question for ya on your cooler tubz, did you order the kit that he makes to put the ford intercooler in a first gen or did you just order the normal first gen kit?

I ordered the powerstoke IC kit, i still had to have 1'' taken out of the drivers side and that 1'' added to the pass. side. So far i think i am the only one who has done this modification. A few have shortened the tubes 1/2'' or so.
I also don't have an A/C condensor so that may account for the 1'' difference?

Ok that's what I thought, did you have to buy any other clamps or boots? Or did the kit have everything from the grid heater tube to the turbo? Minus the intercooler of course

I lied, i just checked the coolertubz website and they assume you will be using the factory PS IC boots and clamps. I must have ordered boots and clamps for the IC piping, 3.25'' i think. I could verify when i get home and check my receipts.

An update finally!
I received the shorter main leaf from alcan today and put them in. Below is pics of the shackle angle with all the weight on them, perfect!
The fix was taking 1.5'' out of the rear of the spring, Bill and i discussed it and this seemed to be the best option. Worked out well.

Weekend update:
Air bags are mounted, just need to run air lines and mount/wire compressor/switch.
4'' DE Exhaust is in!
Started wiring up the GV and decided to put in a cd player while i was at it.
Still waiting for my rad bushings to show up otherwise i would have started it up this weekend.
I tried installing the rear Bilsteins and they are too short! The distributor told me they would work and they won't so tomorrow i will phone and hopefully get the right ones on the way. I ordered 4x(33-186542) as that is what i was spec'd, i should have ordered only 2 of the previous for the front and 2x(33-185569) for the rear.
Whats left:
Rad bushings& install rad.
Bend drag link
Finish wiring GV and air comp.
Get rear driveshaft modified.
Order and install proper rear shocks.
Getting close!!!

For what it's worth, Geno's Garage has the 33-185569 Bilsteins listed as the rear shock for 1st Gen's with up to a 2" leveling lift. Hopefully they will be long enough.
What did you end up with for total lift after reworking the springs for better shackle angles?

When Jim Lane installed the poly spring tips, he mentioned in that particular thread that he got them at a spring shop. A Dodge dealer probably has them but, as you know, you'd be paying a little more for them.
