Wow!! Scott, that does suck big time. I am in the yard work boat too. Little over 2 acres to cut and catches up fast. I have to finish up on some electrical work too.
On a good note my son will be here longer. He was selected for some advanced individual training here at APG. It will give him a chance to meet more of the folks here. He is currently slotted to report to 82nd Airborne Div, Ft Bragg, NC for his 1st duty station. Good that it is still close by, but also sucks because they are the most deployed unit in the Army.
Anyways he got a big kick out of the pictures you posted on the final sea container placement. He said something like country engineering at its best. He also said the cave was awesome.
Well I guess it is that time. Time to get the yard work done.
Peace

Keith is trying to buy some lift time also, lets just say that he got a heck of a deal on a raptor. We are having a great time down here, it was a heck of a long trip, with a few interuptions but all is good.

Write Up on my PhatShaft....
I got my Industrial Injection Phat Shaft 62/14 Last Thrusday. Quick Install, ended up with new 4" turbo back exhaust and a Full Boar Muffler. I've got over 150miles on it now and she runs good! On the second night I had it on I towed a 5k load. She used to be around 900 to 1000 degrees at 65mph. Now she hoovers around 690 to 730 at the same speed. I'm now able to use my Juice HOT Level without running out of turbo and high EGT's. Definitly Laggy compared to stock HY35 9cm housing. It feels a bit slower, but, we will see once I get a chance to hit the track, maybe next Friday.
I also Picked up some Wheels and Tires from Craigslist for $200....17x10's with some near bald 35x12.50 Procomp AT's. They will last the summer!
Whatca Think,
Rick

We are back, 11 hrs and 45 minutes of drive time, covering 741.2 miles. More details will be posted later, it's kinda late. TJ went 314.xx' and broke a yoke on the driveshaft where the two piece connects, I guess that it is time for a one piece

Wow what a time!!! I'm really sorry for those of you who missed it as you really did miss a great opportunity. We had an absolute blast. I think I got a bad rep during the trip though as I was busy accomplishing a serious mission, and I don't think I did too bad:
total barley pops quantity available: 108
total consumption by others: 3
total left over when I unloaded: 14
total hours awake (no travel): 48
Summary: 1.89bph (barley pops per hour)
Yes I had a great time! Will be looking forward to it next year. Oh yea, got a new Raptop fuel pump too so I can replace my leaky Holley. Need a few more parts for it, but I'm looking forward to installing it sometime soon. Charlie was a heck of a nice guy and great customer service at Pureflow.
Other things we learned:
Don't cut corners too tight with trailer - it knocks over gas pumps
Sunir'd up = So much the night before that you can't make it to the diesel drags the next day
Don't feed TJ McDonald's then ride in a closed up truck with him
We have America's next top model in our own DTR chapter and didn't know it (Todd)
I think Cindy likes truck pulls too much to be a woman, but she made a great "mom" to the camping bunch - I'm sure they are thankful
Gummy bears are yummy
I'm sure some others will post up soon. Save your money now and book your vacation days folks, this trip was totally worth it.
