they didn't need the lift when they did mine. My truck was even in the lift bay too. That's why i have a creeper.

my tranny took so long cause we had to pull it back down cause someone saw fluid running down the TQ so we installed it twice and that was the first tranny we pulled out of a third gen.

If I dont go wheelin this weekend I'll come over and help. Remember the TQ converter needs to click in three times or its not seated properly. Loc tite on converter bolts also(if the are not nyloks) or they will vibrate loose.

I am going to start teardown on mine this week so that hopefully it is ready to install first thing, or already done before Saturday.

MT BAJA ATZ 306517 Harford tire real nice guys and quick 45 minutes in and out. Very reasonable. Look them up next time somebody needs tires. how much off does everyone think my speedo will be??? I figure about 5 mph slower??

Well ATF+4 is synthetic already. So why bother. Might wanna look at a heavy duty tranny cooler like i have.
I am now the proud owner of a SMARTY!!!!!!!!!!!
Guess i'll be next in line for a Tranny!
So do i keep the Comp and stack it or sell it?

Now get it straight, I am the proud owner of a SMARTY now, it is sitting in the front seat of my truck, along with a TST, and the back seat has a clutch and hydro upgrade in it.

Has anyone replaced the headlight bulb of a Gen 3 truck?

I got the bulbs, started pulling the bolts until I got to the one by the wheel well and got stuck. I got stuck because I don't have anything that'll reach in there. Anyone got something to get this bolt out?? If you're not close by (I'm over in Port Deposit), anyone know what I need to get??

We will have to do the tranny temp another day cuase i havnt orderd the parts yet( one less thing we have to worry about

Done it a few times now. I have a long 1/4" drive extension to reach in there to remove that bolt.

FWIW, my passenger side is lots easier than the drivers side.
