I thought it was only a day for a tranny install??? Man, I wish I was there for the FASS install because I think the LP in my truck is dying too.

How much time was involved in the FASS install??

Hey Dae just get the Airdog. It's more bang for your buck and we have put on 2 so far into 3rd gen trucks. You can PM Lloyd Mills for pricing. He's a chapter member and vendor.

The tracking number shows that it is going to be here today. As soon as it gets here I will let you all know. I think that we can get two trannies and a clutch done in one day, what do you guys think

i only see that happening if we have a small crowd and cut BSing to a minimum. Otherwise it will take 2 days easy.

we didnt BS much at all and it took us nearly 6 hours to leonards tranny swap. the only thing that was different about that one was he had to switch pans.

a transmission and a clutch in one day is a task. no way will you get all 3 done. i think mike is willing to wait another week so travis has first dibs then boots.

yea i said i would be willing to wait. if boots tranny is toast then he can go after travis. if you intend to do 3 in a day, id suggest starting one friday night... wrap it up saturday before starting #2. then if you are up for a #3 throw it in. im willing to wait but if it can get done this weekend, great cause the following weekend i might be in O.C.

Scotte...I sent you a pm. I am trying to coordinate the TC Controller install. Got an email from those folks about this weekend as a viable option. Don't know how long it will take or what all is involved.

We can start on mine whenever, Friday or Saturday, it does not matter to me. For all I care we can start screwing with it this week (depending on the tile in the Boss's office), I have another mode of transportation.

Len said we're going to need a lift to tap the speed sensor in the rear...so looks like we'll need access to the lift for a quick bit...I'll try n' coordinate around the tranny's or whatnot...just lemme know, I've gotta email those folks...maybe even Sun or whatever...
