You could look at TJ's bed vs your bed and tell. I know that TJ's is a long bed but they still start the same and end the same.

There is a 3" difference between a SB 2nd Gen and SB 3rd Gen. Nothing interchangeable between the two. The 2nd Gen SB is actually longer than a 3rd Gen.

2nd Gen SB = 6'6"
3rd Gen SB = 6'3"

Man PJ those wheels/tires look awesome! That combo on a dually with the big Rig wheels really makes it stand out What size are they? That setup must have cost some $$$...I saw an ad for those from the vendor that advertizes on all the magazines (I think it's like bigrigwheels or AmericanForcewheels.com) he's got a bunch of styles all Alcoa wheels, some of which look amazing...he also has some classic singles for non-dually trucks...talked to him for a bit and he's got 19.5's upto 22.5's I think it was like 5g's or thereabouts for the setup on the non dually

Thanks Sunir, I like em too. They are hand me downs from DWiggs. He actually gave me a very fair deal on the set, they are Alcoa 22.5's with Sumotumo tires.

I think it really makes the truck. I mean, I like the way it looked before, but this really sets it apart from the pack. I also acquired a set of night runner headlights and HID's that I will be putting in tomorrow weather permitting.

I don't get too worried about what it's going to do to my mileage, front end parts or all the other things that people cry about on here. I did it 100% for look, I'll never justify it in wear on the tires that is for sure.

Ride quality is definitely effected, nothing huge, but not as smooth as stock. He's got the rears aired up to a whopping 25 psi., fronts at 40. I'll probably experiment with the pressures to see where the threshold is for bouncyness (to get the best mpg). There is also a hum on the highway that I wasn't really expecting. I don't drive the truck all that much, I've had it a little over a year and a half and have 16,300 on it.

Last time I was at Scott's I heard a LOT of nay saying and crying about how I was going shoot my eye out with this set up. I don't really care about roatating mass, extra weight, blah, blah, blah. Basically, I did it for fun, if I find out I don't like it I can very easily sell the set up here locally for what I paid.
