New Canuck from Calgary, Ab.
Hello there fellow diesel owners. Like to say hello as well as thanks for the many useful tidbits on the forums. They have come in handy many times. I started my love for the lifted truck with a 2000 Jeep TJ sport straight off the lot. Lifted it 4" plus a 2" body. When I upgraded my travel trailer from a 12' single axle to a 23' tandem the TJ just couldn't handle it. I bought a 94 Cummins reg cab, I love that truck! But as the kids (three of them) got older and BIGGER the reg cab just didn't work. Now I have purchased a 01 quad cab. All three trucks running on 33's. Although I love the way my Jeep traverses through the woods on the atv trails and through any mud hole I have encountered I never get tired of the power my Cummins can produce. The 01 is nothing special, K&N intake, BD stainless 4" exhaust, Rancho 9000xl adjustable shocks on 4 corners, BD valve body in the transmission w BD pan, Edge comp box run on level 3 at #5. For me that combo is just right. I can roast the tires when and if I want or just leave the corvette in a cloud of black. On level 2 I can haul my 28' travel trailer around to all the ball tourneys within 500km (300miles) of my home with little effort. Always looking at adding personal touches to the truck and added info from this forum. Look forward to talking and dicussing with fellow members.
